Arc workaround

Arc work around. uninstall arc . open the launcher folder delete arcsdk .dll create a new folder and rename it arcsdk.dll put it in the launcher . delete the two ms dos batch files with weird writeing on them ones in the launcher and the other is in element delete the arc installer in the program files .do a file search for arcsdk and delete the other two arcsdk.dll .
uninstalling arc left around ten registry errors , use CCLEAN on the registry to fix those . its free and its the only registry cleaner i have ever seen that works right . be carefull with that thing if you dont know what you are doing just fix the registry errors and uninstall it .
use disk cleanup and defrag your machine .
the folder you created keeps arc from being a liar . you do not have to run arc . no more wondering if arc is causeing discoes . without the empty folder arcsdk.dll arc will rewrite itself and lie to you . no files were modified .

    What is so different for me than it is for all of you ? What is there even to work aournd ?

    When i started playing this game 2 years ago, i learned to open element client twice.

    Somewhere in the unknown past i downloaded arc and forgotten about it. Never touched it, kept opening element clients.

    Somehwere in the recent past i was afraid i would have to install arc to get blessings because of all the **** i see on the forums. Turned out i already had it. Started using it for blessings. Still opening element clients and not bothering about arc for the rest of the week.
    Everything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.

    Opening the PW elementclient doesnt' work for me. The Arc client opens instead.

    For temporary reasons of data safety of my docs, I'm not attempting this work around. Yet.

    I will be watching these threads -- maybe PW issues another fix. Ha -- I'm not laughing either way.

    you might be able to just replace the dll with an empty folder of the same name . didnt try that ... hmmm...

    Was having a tough time figuring why manual patch wasn't working through arc....... This fixed that. Hats off you bro/sis w/e O.o.
