Double/Hybrid cultivation system

Upon reaching Mirage Sky I and level 89, players would be able to access a new cultivation quest chain inside primal world, at the end of this quest chain, player cultivation would reach Transcended Celestial (or just Celestial... or you guys name it.)

At this cultivation the player will be given a tiny button on his interface in the right side of the HP/MP bar, clicking this button will cast a 5.0 channeling / 5.0 casting skill that turns from sage to demon and demon to sage.

Upon reaching that cultivation as a Sage for example, all your sage skills are recorded into your Sage self, you gain a Demon self with equal skill tree (besides sage skills will be lv 10 skills on brand new demon self) Then you will be able to learn demon skills to your demon self and use them while using the demon alignment.

Some intricacies of this system:
- Learning a celestial/morai/vacuity system adds the skill to both sage/demon self
- Upgrading a skill from Level 1 to 2 (for example) does upgrade the same skill on both alignment versions.
- If you reach this cultivation having explicitly sage/demon primal skills, the requirement skills are added to other self as Lv 10 skills (Example: Having sage assassin's Elimination, will make your newly demon side with lv 10 Slipstream Strike and Puncture Wound instead)

This system would give the player the ability to reach maximum class-potential and get maximum advantage of different game scenarios (PvE/PvP)

As an extended suggestion, spark limit could raise to 4 and a bar (from 3 and a bar) (DO NOT ADD A NEW SPARK ERUPTION FFS), newly cultivated characters could get a new passive skill to increase critical hit by 2% while demon aligned or 2 atk+def level while sage aligned.

I'll exemplify to make the suggestion clear:

Suppose you reach the level and with a seeker having most sage skills. On cultivating and reaching Transcendent Celestial, the Alignment mode.

It may be a little bit hard to code all this things, I don't know how the game saves skill information in the database, or it could be really simple. I myself could figure out a way to have this working. The only exploit I see is demon sins wearing sage bloodpaint for just a 20s of alignement change per rebuff. (And demon bms with sage aura).

It is a neat idea but the if implemented, it should absolutely require logging off to switch, and probably a time delay between switching cultivations.

Also I think it is a bad idea to raise the chi limit to 499 chi. The whole reason for the limit is to prevent certain skills from being chained together (or make it very costly in terms of apoth or genia usage).

The easier solution would just be to make rank gear stashable. It is already class limited. Then I could make an alt of the same class with a different cultivation.

    This could be great.

Switching cultivations could just remove all your buffs and have like 2h cooldown tho.

The idea is to give the possibility to everyone to have each and all skills for its class and raise the 'full skills' bar, giving spirit a little bit more demand on while making sage/demon markets more balanced between and giving more movement to it.

By the other hand, people would use demon on pvp and sage for pve for example (or vice versa), the chances are given to everyone equally.

Would be really up to each person, Sage and Demon are nearly perfectly balanced in most classes (besides lame demon seekers IMO), few of them have buffs that differ much from demon to sage (Barbarians, Assassins and Blademasters for instance) and with a large cooldown and purge could make it difficult to exploit on.

I personally would give my party mates sage bloodpaint and play demon, while on pvp I would probably play sage.
Could play a sage cleric on pve and demon on pvp,
could play demon seeker on pve and sage on pvp
demon barb on pvp and sage on pve
Or any other combinations/changes one could think of.

I remember YEARS ago when, wait it was me XD

    in THIS thread

I suggested an hybrid cultivation that allowed you to get the opposite effect of a skill having learned YOUR lv 11 skill and having the book for the opposite cultivation skill.

But thinking well, I would not like to see archers with Sage+Demon Quickshot...

I like this dynamic cultivation change idea.

This is a great idea! This could end the tears when sacrificing skills for some primal merges.

Also, less 10 toons for the uber addicted to make. b:chuckle
