Account Deletion after 1 year?

hello wonderful people! I have a question about my accounts. I am moving to a rehab nursing home for the disabled in about a week or so and I won't have Internet there to be able to play the game. Someone told me that my account will be deleted after one year of not logging in. I don't know if I'll be gone a year or not or perhaps more but I want to make sure my account is safe for when I come back. I know it is against the rules to give somebody else my account information. So I need to know what I can do to keep my account safe until I return to PWI? b:cute
Physically Disabled Gamer ~ I play with nerve damage and loss of motor skills in my whole body which makes it a bit harder to play the game. Yet I have fun and love to make friends.

P.S. If a video game makes you rage it might be time to uninstall it. ~ IJS. b:bye

Don't do anything. The person who told you that your account would be deleted was dead wrong, I know likely trust them, obviously, as it scared you enough to post here. Your account will not be deleted for 1 year of inactivity. It will however likely get locked. This is different from deletion as them locking your account makes it so that nobody can steal your account wile you are away, it is actually for your own protection as a lot of inactivity can lead to problems down the line especially if you are not changing your passwords regularly as you normally would(hopefully).

Upon your return, if indeed your account got locked, all you would need to do is send in a ticket and go through the quick and easy process of getting it reactivated.

I know this person is likely your friend, but I totally have a issues with people who say things that are not true without so much as a single attempt to verify their claims. I hope in infinite quantities that you did not trust this person, who was wrong, enough to give them your account information. It just goes to show that you just absolutely cannot trust anyone you meet online ever.

It states that they can/may do it in the ToS, but I've never heard of it actually happening.

Don't give your account information to anyone. Ever. For any reason.
At least, not if you want it to remain your stuff.

Don't give out your information. They will not delete your account. I have managed to grab a few accounts before the restriction for 2 accounts max was set, and one in particular I haven't logged in in more than a year, yet it's still available, not locked, not deleted. You could also send in a ticket to support and ask exactly the details, but I'd say that's unnecessary.
Get better soon and come back to your game friends!

It is highly unlikely your account will be deleted. However, what you can do is submit a ticket now with information only you can verify and letting them know ahead of time, just in case. And if you've ever account shared (he's not saying you have, but just in case because in order for support to help you with anything a year from now, if something goes wrong, you must be the only with access to it) change the email address and password of your account, so that you're the only one with access to it.

Actually not long after PWI first opened I left for a wile and before I did I asked. They told me they don't delete for inactivity. Honestly there is only one company whose games I have played that does do that and it isn't PWE. That company is why I started asking before I go on breaks from games. A game Company always wants their customers to come back and spend money and they know players are unlikely to come back if they loose everything

Amy worry about yourself don't worry about this pixelated **** because it will be here when you get back...the playbase might not be but the game will be here and they wont delete your account because they are going to need some kinda account to prove they have people left in the game. But anyways yeah worry bout yourself and maybe when you are done with rehab you wont even think of this raggy game anymore.b:bye
