Dark Abyss Mount Upgradable?

Hi everyone
I got the dark abyss mount after farming the aquametal and wen i got it was happy ... but after it reach level 11 and speed 8.0m/s, I m wondering whether this mount can attain more speed?
Is that mount upgradable? If Yes then how ? I checked pet manager and there is no option for this mount to upgrade. Please tell if there is any chance to get this mount attain more speed... thnxb:bye

400 attendance sheets from the daily 1 hour wait for "Roll Call". You can get the real Dark Abyss Mount from the School Teacher up on the platform in the center of Archosaur. The other way is cash shopping when charge rewards has that mount available as a reward.

The Aquametal items are just meant to be fluff, so I doubt there is a way to upgrade.

The mounts and flyers from the aqua metals are all reduced speed versions of various cash shop item. Since they are free and easier and/or cheaper to obtain, there isn't a way to upgrade them. And that is unlikely to change since they are supposed to beginner version of the real thing. As stated above dark abyss can be obtained by doing the attendance quest everyday for 400 days, or from the charge rewards. The flyers are all from drake mirror packs.
