guy has been on Lost City all day world chatting a site that is most likely a **** site. ofc i am not going to log on there to check it out for you. *IF* we had an active GM that checked on servers a few times a day maybe just maybe fewer stupid(not trying to insult anyone but be smart and dont go there!) people would be **** by going to these sites. is it to much to ask for a video game company to have a GM log in every so often?

and no ty i will waste time to send in a ticket on someone that will have changed to a new account by the time the ticket is even read.

We have had somebody on Sanctuary doing this all day, as well. Lots of people have reported him, but there he sits, spamming away.

If only more people used the forums and bothered to look at stickies like http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1324431 they wouldn't have to worry about this sort of thing.

... and if only we had more visible results from support staff (instead of a small group of overworked people who can be not too god at times) people would think twice before attempting this kind of thing AND would actually be willing to report this stuff instead of just saying they did but not doing it...

Meh. Lots of "if only" sort of things spring to mind reading this.

another game i played had a GM online within 10 mins if they were contacted about any sort of scamming or hacking. not the blah blah idk which of the 500 people i gave my pass to hacking but real stuff like people posting web sites and such.

hubby went to a uhm naughty site and got a key logger who invaded my account on other game. GM's fixed it and had all my stuff back before i even knew about the incident. but there we had GM interaction several times daily on all servers. PWI first game i played that GMs are a rarity.

Yep, just imagine how good PWI would be if the higher ones cared about it, even a little.
And going on perv' sites without proper computer protection is like going naked in the jungle. You don't want to meet a bad end, do you... Ah wait, you already experienced that. b:laugh

On a more serious note, I do miss when frankie made a temp lifting of the naming and shaming rule for the bots on a thread, and then aggressively pursued and banned the names on there. I think we need that type of thing again for the current situation. But still ticketing it is better than nothing.

Frankie did that eh... it's sad I don't remember about it. It's nice you do.

Hmmm.... GMs should have plenty of tickets by now. Let's see what happens next.
Btw, I wonder if one already fell for that scam since the bot was wasting a lot of teles around there.

we had this guy world chatting for hours on Harshlands i know i reported on the two accounts i had on at the time.

I really wish we had some sort of gm presence in game, i mean nothing has happened for at least 4 hours to someone just spamming their site.

the guy on Lost City is still spamming away. a good 24 hours now. wow those tickets really seem to be working well! those millions of dollars PWE is making is sure put to great use i see....

is PWE responsible for lost items if the not so smart people go to that site and get ****? i mean since PWE was notified by multiple tickets and still has done nothing about it. seen a few people quit the game after losing everything and not getting a GM response for over a month.

And this is why we need some form of ingame monitoring.

Because at least then the problem could be resolved quickly and decisively instead of... a ticket getting a response after a couple of days when the damage has already been done. >_>

there needs to be mods in game imo, people who can mute other players that are disruptive and people who will actually get stuff done in game to help the player base. Direct links to a GM who cares enough to sort out the hackers and scammers would be pretty cool too b:surrender

i remember pm ing a CM on here cant remember if it was frankie or eatwithspoons but they had the guy shut up within 15 mins of my pm. the fact that this guy is still going at least a day and a half later is a really sad reality of how little respect players get now.

we are good enough for them to take our money but not good enough to respond to forum threads alerting them to a possible breech in security to their game. imo the players should only be aiding the GM s with tickets on this matter. the GM s should be logging into servers daily to keep tabs on things. not to be rude, but if the security of the game isnt a priority, what do GM s do all day? ofc players should be smart and careful where they go.

Hmm, I look at the stickies and all I saw was this thread suggesting we had more support help and people answering the numerous amount of tickets. Probably wouldn't need so many threads about fishing sites, "****" sites, and scammers if the people we were submitting tickets on actually received punishments and were stopped from doing this for days to months before pwi stepped in.

Quick question. Why are there not more people pm'img us with screenshots and such (as well as sending a ticket) when it comes to this kind of stuff? I mean, it's one thing to send a ticket and then say "oh, well they must not care because it didn't get done in 30 minutes or less," but at least giving us a poke to poke someone else might get things done a bit faster.

Just my thoughts.

I can only speak for myself here, but it's kind of discouraging to know nothing will get done. Sending a ticket takes ages and while you guys are closer to the GMs, I doubt you can hit them up at any time. At this point I just feel sorry bugging a mod with such issues, considering you're in the same boat as us players. Stuck with GMs that hardly listen. b:surrender

I tried calling PWE's office yesterday to complain about a ticket that they haven't acknowledged in 4 months, and any updates I try to add get deleted as "I already have a ticket open." I called on a Thursday, during business hours. No one answered, they had no call waiting, and their voicemail boxes were too full to leave a message. Their automated response was to please call back later. I called back later and tried several extensions, none of which answered.

"Direct complaints" don't work because PWE doesn't answer their phones.

This would be really nice....i mean seriously how many tickets do they get a day that could be avoided with a GM in game at all times....on top of which how many of the tickets submitted ACTUALLY lead to something being done ban wise? Probably not many in my opinion. I have submitted tickets on people for very clear and obviously bannable things that they should have been banned for but still see those players on every day. Must be nice to put money into a game and draw favor from GMs.

Remember when Gms answered when they were needed, and helpful for that matter?

A group of us went and tried this out in Seat of Torment, in Heaven

All was going well, we paid our cash (600k) and entered, no one got the quest, but we got the trophy badge in our inventories and off we went. We wined this instance.

All was going great, until our BM got stuck on the terrain.

Called a GM (Usagi answered) and they appeared in the instance and released the BM, we also said about the fact no one had got a quest in their quest log for this instance.

After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing (including paying another 600k to enter the reset instance that Usagi did for us) Usagi said that they couldn't help us, and to put a ticket in, stating their name, and they would look into this more.

So, ticket sent, answer got.

We were told not to do it again until they had 'fixed' it and the person who wined had their wines returned to them.

So my advice would be do not try this yet and you may end up like us, 1.2m outta pocket and very upset we couldn't do trophy mode yet.

I will mention though, Usagi was very helpful and spent a good amount of time trying to sort this for us, Thanks Usagi

Now they just appear 5 minutes before server resets somewhere random and afk

Speaking for myself, its really because I have no faith in PWE to do anything even when they're hounded. Public complaints lead no where, private complaints are answered with the copy-paste "Thank you for telling us well look into it" which feels more like they're saying "thanks for wasting your time doing our job for us, now wait a bit longer and maybe we'll follow up", so I have no real faith pming one of ya'll is gonna go anywhere either.

I wonder if Wanmei could see their games state here if they'd let PWE continue.
