With rebirth and all the new stat points we can get I was considering switching my Veno to a HA build after rebirth.

What type of Heavy Armor does this type of Veno wear? Is it T3? Do you still use a magic weapon with these builds?

Also what are the benefits of being a HA Veno and how does this affect your pets?

You can see our (kinda recent) discussion here about HA Venomancers: click!

    As a short summary:
R9rr beats Nirvana but if you're only planning to use Nirvana gear then HA is a valid build. The best armor you can get is Nirvana G16.

G16 Nirvana will have great physical defence but you'll lack a lot of magic compared to the typical pure magic builds so you will have to play more support-like or pure support, whichever you like. Note that pure support doesn't mean you're in Fox Form all the time, several human skills can be used as support such as Parasitic Nova to stunlock.

War Avatars benefit HA because they give more magic defence than physical defence and that's something HAs need.

Your pets will have more HP/Defence but if your weapon is good they won't lack in damage. The comparison between HA pets and pure magic build pets depends purely on the gear differences/refines and the pets' Inherit. Side note, Vit build Venomancers pets have better HP too but again, this will be affected by refines (crappy refines vit build won't have much more than pure magic with awesome refines).

There isn't much of a reason not to wear a magic weapon because you'll prevent yourself from using a lot of skills and whilst HA Venomancers have lower magic attack, a good weapon with high refines can still give them good damage (of course won't compare to a pure magic with similar refines).

    Can't find any b:avoid
and how does this affect your pets?
Pet is affected by hp from your own (not from gear) stats placed into vit. The more you put into vit, the more hp pet gets. Rest depends on gear, refines and bonuses. So, best you can do for your pet is going full vit. Other veno builds don't matter much.
