    could management please define what they perceive as quick in terms of minutes, hours, days... we all have different ideas about things and time happens to best fit this issue. it's all relative, right?

    ahhhh wait, maybe if there's a discovery of something that needs to be addressed and servers coming back to operation will be prolonged... a simple notification would probably help most people from not complaining in the forums.

    is customer service that much of an alien concept to grasp?

    :) You got me, I should have said "Im guessing," a guess I threw out there because I saw that it had 3mil downloads. So yah, no clue about exact sizes, but I know the server at an online map company/town website that was only meant to support about 200 users at a time took at least 2 hours to shut down, cool off, and restart to fully functioning order.

    Yeah tho, on a Friday night, I would totally hand the janitor a message to press the red button in 3 hours, then go drink. :)

    You realise there's some form of hierarchy there right? The GMs tend to know things before the CM and the CM tends to know things before the Mods. Not always true, but yeah. When the GM, CM, or Mods know they will LET US KNOW TOO. It just takes time.
