Flying pets now superfluous?

So call me 'slow' ....... (wait for it...)

...but I just evolved my herc and of course it flies and purportedly swims - so did my sawfly, skatefish and plumpfish just become superfluous? b:cry

...so many hours spent levelling them too.....

    Only if you evolve a legendary pet (or get a monkey/harpy). For those without them, flying pets are still useful.

    The sawfly and plumpfish can also evolve (but stay restricted to their original environments.)

    They only become kind of..useless...if you have legendary pets (I honestly use nothing else nowadays but my legendaries because I have no need for the others other than for my own personal entertainment).

    There are still people with no legendaries so the air/water pets aren't completely useless but instead they get a nice little boost.

    It's kinda nice if you want more space in your pet bag though. No more needs for a special air/water pet.
