Glacial Embrace - A painfully expensive skill

Hello fellow wizzies!

I finally got enough bloods to make this skill and then, due to my ignorance, I realized I do not have the demon version of it.

The bonus for demon was not really good, I did not stumble upon it before so I ignored it. Now, my luck was put to the test. There is a 10% chance to get it with tokens. 15000 tokens later I got it. Funny thing, the tokens on my server are 26-30k each so it was a wild ride. Now AH is full of my overpriced skills for DemonWiz. :)

Did you demon wizzes have this skill before? Share ur experience.b:bye

    found demon Glacial Embrace in AH few days after expansion for 5mill i quickly got it cause knew be wanted skill b:laugh

    not sure about other servers but in HT's AH u can easily find that skill for 2-3m...

    The skill is amazing. As a demon wiz, I always had issues with Chi. I used to run could eruption just for that. Now, I am 23k pdef with water shield and in those OH SH!!!T situations i use earth shield. It is sick how much more one can do with much more chi. I have to change completely my way of playing.

    I left demon and went sage, enjoy it A LOT more. Being that the pdef cap was raised or removed because it's no longer still at 90% putting on anything besides your stone shell cripples your survival, with all these other classes that hit significantly hard, the more def you have for pvp the better your chances of escaping are. IMO it's a nice PVE skill to have , I would rather get all the passives maxed and then get the new skill that combines sandstorm.

    The new glacial embrace is just too good. I use it almost exclusively in TW. Unless I get purged I will throw up stone barrier until I can get rebuffed.

    you should bring this post to the barb\bm section it's completely out of context here,

    sage wizards PERHAPS got something interesting,
    primal skills for demon wizards are useless

    we got a wannabe CC nuke that is in fact an average damage dps skill that takes away one of our major aoe cc skils (50% aoe instastun) and one of our major single target cc (80% slow)

    we got a wannabe CC dot, that deal base damage and doesnt CC

    aoe frostblade = why even dev such a thing?

    new stone barrier = its exact like lvl 11

    new flame barrier = at very endgame it doesnt have that great impact, you cant pop it in pvp unless you are wasting an ironguard with it

    new ice barrier = useful, still very very situational, still you cant camp it in pvp

    actually mooooooo (demon) double switched culti to get back lvl 11 demon skills, and i am seriously thinking to do so aswell or switch sage

    I guess no one noticed the primal skills that all seem lame, and hardly considered an upgrade, all have the description {insert skill name here} (Level 1), when viewed from the in game encyclopaedia.

    So I'm thinking;

    --Future update to lvl these using bloods/3rd awakening/further awakenings/boundary levels

    --No future updates as PWE/PWI doesn't want to incorporate all that new content and/or wants to cap awakenings at 2
