U.S. West Coast Servers Having Issues??

MadamVixen - Heavens Tear

My husband and I were disconnected over night, and when we try to log in now, we can't make it past character selection. Our screens sit at 'Entering Perfect World' with 3K+ms, before it disconnects. We've restarted our router, and verified our clients, and we're still getting the same issues. Are any other people having this issue, and if so, what's the possible cause? Thanks!!

I am having the same problem. Im on the Heavens Tear server and when i try and log it takes a bit for me to be able to select a character then when i can it takes forever to load to play it. and when im in the game its really laggy sometimes i get 35k ping, timing on skills are off or too laggy to use them. then i get disconnected. not sure whats causing it though

We're able to finally log in now, and did take into account that latency may have been the issue. But after figuring out it wasn't anything we, personally were doing, I thought I would ask to see if anyone was having the same problem. Thanks though.

Same problem also in HT server... 10k ping (oh my god)... so laggy... they said that i have a low internet... then i log off my PWI. Then i went to my guildwar2 and it running smoothly...

When i checked it back the server two servers having a higher ping mark in RED text color if i'm not mistaken HT server and the other server i forgot the name...i doubt it that my net having a problem in this issue... if i'm not mistaken the problem is in pwi-server not in my net...

Since 2007 (other account) i was playing pwi this is my first time i encounter in this problem and it's start when the NEW HORIZON released...... i'm sorry, i don't believe the information that i have a problem in my IP or Net connection because if i have it should reflect to my other games that i played!!!

You didn't read any of it did you.

95% of the time it's not you, OR your ISP. And it's not the servers either.

The majority of the time it's a regional router in between you and the servers.

Why is it so hard for people to grasp the fact that there's not this magical connection between your PC and the server? Or that the path your data takes to one server, is not the same path as another? I mean, it's a pretty simple concept. Think of the internet like a system of highways and side-roads.
