Arc Plugin on website

Everytime I enter the pwi site for the past 3 days, im getting a notice asking if I give permission to let an arc plugin run. I've hit no, because I don't normally like things extra running, but I'm curious as to what it is supposed to do. Haven't seen any news of it. Anyone know?

    Definately not a random popup because it say's arc and notifies me everytime i get onto the pwi webpage. I use google chrome and its only started popping up past few days, might just be not notifying and running in background for you.

    I'd really like to be told what it is before I allow it to run. Keep your playerbase in the loop for once!

    Nothing here also, using Adblock + Desdi, ops I mean Mozilla Firefox b:cute , probably it`s targeted by odd IP`s or smth.

    Firefox should totally be called Desdi :3

    --anyway I still use pwi without arc since thumbdrive files from before arc was introduced.... so I haven't ever seen any arc things running in-background
    Once I ended up on the arc website thing somehow, and it's the most slow loading page ever...

    It seems to be related to the ARC Browser, perhaps as a way to launch the game client from the website through ARC?

    Tsk, tsk. Y'all, stop abusing Desdi!

    On topic, I am using Chrome + AdBlock but I get the same Arc pop-up every time I open the Forum.
    Having the game installed with Arc, it might be because of this, but then I wonder what exactly is Arc doing, launching random plug-ins when I don't even have it running in the background or anything.

    So, Gecko isn't imagining things, unless we share the same twisted hallucination and Arc is doing nasty experiments on us. f:stare

    i dont have any arc plugin messages myself, but judging from the stablility of the servers, the maintenances without fail, and the freedom from defects of pwi in genernal... installing malware and posting full credit card details couldn't be possibly more harmful than this arc thing. b:chuckle

    Using Google Chrome + Add blocker.
    Its Chrome that is alerting me of it, so maybe Desdi just doesn't alert people of it. The fact that kossy knows nothing about a change to the website is really kinda concerning to me. Can we please get some more information so we know there isnt an arcplugin trying to find out where we live to send people to come kidnap us and force us to take drugs that will turn us into sex slaves if we dont get rescued by Liam Neeson?

    You are not going insane Gecko, I am getting the same thing, it comes and goes, I didn't get it this time I came onto the site but got it several times yesterday and the day before. Just keep denying it, that is what I am doing.

    We should get an official reply on this plug-in arc pop-up thing. I only get it on the PWI website (it is the only PWE site I visit). I have the game downloaded through Arc.

    If this should NOT be happening, an official reply should tell us so.

    If this should be happening, an official reply should at the very least state "it is working as intended". Although it would be warranted that a better statement, including some more detailed explanation about it be given.

    This is one of the reasons I will never run ARC or other game management software interfaces on my PC,
    Any plugin which requires your permission to run does so because, without your permission some of its actions may be considered illegal,(e.g. Spyware)
    Just something to think about.

    I am suggesting a solution...

    Step 1. Copy the PWI game folder to another location.
    Step 2. Uninstall ARC.
    Step 3. Take a prescription for your furry tail addiction aka "Desdi's Blessing" addiction.

    Hmm... Yeah instead of Jones' Blessing, they should rename it to "Desdi's Blessing"

    It has nothing to do with arc running on desktop or not. I don't run arc. It's just a website thing.

    I am just suggesting based on experience. I was having the same paranoia about that plugin permission in my browser (chrome) whenever I visited pwi website. But when I uninstall ARC and ran the client through the patcher folder, the annoying plugin permission was gone.

    It's up to you to believe or not... That's why it's a suggestion...

    Thank You! Uninstalled Arc tonight! It is still laggy, but no where near as bad with Arc having been running too. And, guess what? No more Plug-In Pop-up b:victory b:pleased

    confirmed that it opens the arc client via clicking the button on the main website for PWI.
