    Servers are open.

    HOWEVER.

    Auto-patches are not currently functional. While you can log in with the previous version (no promises with anything older than 767), you will likely continue to see errors - especially text errors - until you patch your client. Until the auto-patcher is updated, it is recommended that you instead use the manual patches located here.

    We are hoping to have the auto-patcher updated sometime tomorrow. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

    We have it........ click the server list. It tells you whether it's online or not.

    For those who doesn't know how to manualy patch.Load launcher check your current version if its 765 download 765-768,if it says 767 download 767-768 once you downloaded on top left cornern on launcher there is "manual"-click it,browse to the downloaded patch,(wherever you downloaded it)then open it,once update is made restart launcher,happy gaming.

    I started playing AI-ON when it came out - left and went back a few times. Here was what I loved about them - things they had PWI does not have:

    - More materials avaiable to gather (including fish for cooking)

    - One gatherable item was in the air (Aether) that you can use with Designs to morph materials (instead of gathering them).

    - In order to get morphing designs, you had to own a fort and buy them from NPC there. Different forts had different designs.

    - You could skin wings, armor and fashion (i.e. take the appearance of) some were one time only.

    - Housing and plants (you could buy plants for your home that gave you materials).

    - Loot pets (they picked up loot/items) for you and pack pets (traveling inventory of various sizes).


    BUT - Perfect World has really great instances for group, they don't make it too easy to get some things, the make it a challenge and the community is what really is the most valuable asset - and is why I keep coming back.

    Games can have glitz, and cool items -- but if they do not have true substance, and the ability to make friends, connect with them by farming, waring and such - what good are they?


    (In the end I uninstalled it and came back to PWI.... and I've very glad I did)

    It downloaded fine for me with the link to the manual patch that was posted in the OP of this thread.
