i was hoping for a history example, but i guess that works too.
For example, a supplier signs a contract to only distribute to one particular retail store and prevented by the written contract to supply to their competitor as well due to possible leakage of information. Or, a large company "acquires" smaller companies to develop a stronger competitive advantage than their competition.
i don't see the resemblance in this case, as what you describing is not a case where ALL (or at least the significant ones) competitors on a specific market sign a trading pact that excludes and is against the interest of one single company/entity (the big moma), as it is against the laws.
This is just a case where a giant eats (not "partnership") smaller companies that might give an advantage to their competitor, thus giving him a monopoly on that resource.
that supplier signs an exclusivity contract with that retail store, but that retail store is not bound to only sell that type of product from that supplier.
tell me an example where, here to make it in your own language, for example: Microsoft+Samsung+Let's say Nokia+(the rest of the tablet industry) sign a legal pact, let's say to lower their prices to not higher than Apple's -5%, this way achieving to destroy apple's sales. This is not possible under the current laws.
Or give me an example when Subway+Starbucks+Wendy's+Burger King+Taco Bell+Whatever random KFC food chain, specifically sign a pact with wall mart or carreffour or LuLu Mall to not sell "exclusivelly" Mc Donald's products.
Even in trading embargo's there allways some (important ones), that don't want to participate as it is bad for business (usually the ones that benefit the most from trade relations).
And btw you don't need to get hot that much, i didn't say at any point u were "asking about coins", i just told you what happens to them in ANY guild (core first lowbies later). I still think you're the best/only support mystic on HL

And what about funding? Loans made by larger companies to smaller companies. That's not "eating" up smaller companies by a "big moma" and their entity dissapears. Also, some acquired companies keep their division and their legal name, so that in a sense is banding together to compete with their competition. It's not necessarily to only ban together and target only one competitor, as the market is vast and there are many emerging and niche markets where an even larger competitor would appear. But in this case of a dead HL, this isn't possible.
Also to note: There is a reason why I said "minimum regulations" in my previous post, because I understand that there is set regulation by the Government. But honestly, do you really think that all companies ethically oblige to those regulations and don't exploit loopholes? I'm not going to go into a complete case study with you as I don't really care, it was just a simple "This happens in the real world" quote.0 -

We are DEFENDING Infamous in the process of attacking Dominio. We are enjoying TW against Infamous while being able to maintain our cash flow because of the supposedly "Dark is losing guild funds" joke.
Also, with Mayhem and Crimson attacking Infamous how does their revenue not change? Last week they lost Absinthe and Catalyst eh? You think those aren't part of Infamous? 2 weeks ago Infamous forsake 2 of their lands to defend against Dark after the mistake of trying to defend all 3 stacks. Which in the "DC" fest apparently Infamous was the only faction that DC'd. Then, all of a sudden Infamous doesn't care about the season anymore (after realizing they can't defending more than 1) and they are going to hate target Dark because of "Bad Decisions" made by ONE particular player.
The map ain't going to last that long before the next reset comes. I can finally see why PWI changed the TW system to bring more "exciting" TW's, in a sense.0 -

Idk what the QQ is all about, when the map is perfectly capable of supporting 3 major factions at the same time every 6 months.
The only reason there's even any action atm is because Dark decided to take on Infa.
TW in PWI isn't like a game of LoL. There's no system in place to allow a "weaker" team to come back against a stronger one. If you lose TW, you simply don't have the numbers + gear. No "strategy" is really going to change that, besides outright cash shopping and recruiting more R9rr +10/12 players (who are mostly all already in infamous). Or if the other faction simply makes an error in splitting it's forces in a stack war. 1v1 though? Pretty pointless.
There are comebacks in LoL because the devs designed mechanics to allow comebacks. There are comebacks in DOTA because certain characters are designed to become late game "ubercarries" and drastically change the dynamic of a teamfight.
Not so in PWI. The mechanics to winning in PWI is a basic combination of numbers + gear. You can stack players for a large rush and overwhelm a faction easily, but, that requires gear + numbers also.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Well its a bit difficult when infamous is pulling 80 people per war all of whom (or 95%+) are r9rr Typically +10 some +12 and many with end gear shards. (Dont come preach to me about people who have 4/5 pieces with Josd and since they dont have 5/5 that they dont count as end geared).
I mean you guys can say what you want about gear, but everyone on the server can blatantly see that infamous has hoarded a good 70-75% of the top gear end game geared players. assuming even 40-45% of those end geared players show you still out gear us (Cause thats end geared people, i havent even gone into the rest that are just r9rr +10 with **** sharding). While you have all that, and are filling a full 80 war ofc you're going to beat us when we still have g16+6/7 and are only pulling 65-70.
The reason we said *** it stack is because when we fought you guys 2 times you had random people who have quit the game log on for that tw (Hence, the people from dark making the Email, Facebook, and Texting remarks saying you litterally called all your players back). Whether thats true or not, all i know is i saw 4-5 that i know quit, and i dont even know infamous players that well which means i can assume there were more.
Fact of the matter is a faction cant hoard all the r9rr +12 end gear sharded players into 1 faction then QQ that all the other factions band together and stack them.
Think of it like this
Say infamous is this "Big Power Running back", and Dark Crimson and Mayhem Are the 3 linebackers. Well the only way to really set that RB back is make sure you deliver a hit he wont soon forget. Best way to do that? Well its simple, just like me and my old football buddy use to do, One person takes out his knees, the other delivers the finishing blow by putting his shoulder down and taking his head off. Eventually after doing that over and over and over and over and over again the big bad running back no longer wants to run at your side of the field and in some cases no longer wants to be in the game.
(In real terms? Keep pounding away at infamous over and over and over and eventually they'll cave in or give up)0 -

Whats the difference between what we do in pk and what infa does for tw (They call, email, text, and facebook old players to log on for tw or share their acc info so their +12 jaded characters can be there to fight)0 -

jackieK says a lot without knowing any facts and just hopes he/she is right...this has already been proven since you know, beibei and i have the same gear. Also, hoarding players isnt a thing. People are in whatever guild they want to be in. It's not like you can force someone to stay. Or force them to leave so the guilds are "even"0

i think you might have that problem where if someone says something against you or your guild its instantly qq or rage. It could just be a normal comment against you or your guild. Im not privy to what was said, so I wont make any assumptions, but wamp seems fine to me.0

Nah, we never wanted a zerg. I even posted that I don't bother to come to pvp anymore because it's inevitably 5-6 Dark vs 1-2 infa/crim who instantly leave. People in HL simply don't pvp.
BTW are you faceroll from like LC or something? I seem to remember your name, but can't really recall who the hell faceroll is.
Also, you seem to be a really bad player who doesn't understand TW. It's bad manners to interrupt a forum convo when you don't even understand what you're saying/reading. I personally don't care, but I know a lot of people who would find you annoying/stupid/etc.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

He actually replied "i take twice the dmg i deal on gear very similar to chaos'" which, if you know the slightest bit about archer pvp, means that he would have to tank chaos for longer than it would take chaos to kill him (normally) in order to have a chance at killing chaos.
Also, pretty sure Dr_Red is or was the leader of Catalyst. You'd think someone who pretends to intimately know the gear of every Infa/cata member would know their names as well.
