open pvp is alot more competitive considering most ppl have r9 so not that much of a gap. It only comes down to cards, refines, shards and nw gear. But TW has gone to **** considering one guild has every maxed out player on the server except maybe 4 or 5 ppl thus killing competitive tw's. Heres a happy face for Curses cause he don't like when people are mean har harb:pleased

I take it you're saying Infamous beat you because you were outgeared? That seems a little dishonest.

Thats exactly what im saying. Every equal tw they had they manage to lose in 15 minutes aka kylin vs catalyst and they even lost to afterlife recently. You guys should probably balance out teams if you want competitive tw's instead of this crystal rush garbage.

The server is pretty much dead. As has been predicted in the past all the die hard players and heavy cash-shoppers still play (the reason mostly everyone is r9). The towns are mostly empty and the world map was desolate last time I checked. The tws are a bore-feast decided by numbers and gears. Pvp is the same as tw. My friend, anything else you need to know?

If you must know, yes, Dark has numbers issues currently. We can't facebook and call up old members and get 90+ online as if anyone who ever existed within our guild had no other lives or responsibilities outside of this game, we've always had 50-60 reliable members and 20-30 wild card.

Nurfed quit not much after you did, Iffy quit even before that, iirc, Cerize and Lugi were still on not too long ago, Lugi was making a cleric (i think). Jlung logs on Apologies sometimes but i'm never quite sure who it is.

Of course, whenever Dark loses a TW against Infamous, i'm sure they all showed up there in full endgame gear, so you should probably ask them.

I made seven squads + scout and base buffer for Monday night's war. I know for a fact that only the first two cata squads were full. So we were probably around 65-ish in TW. I heard afterwards that you guys had like 60. So about even war, no?

None of them play anymore. Iffy and Jlung play LoL to varying degrees. Cerize is around in our vent occasionally (try asking Barbapapa to contact her?). Lugi kinda disappeared to play DotA or something. And I have no idea about Nurfed.

I love how you guys openly brag about being able to see Dark guild chat but the idea of Dark being able to do the same is unheard of. Listen, I'm not claiming to be all knowing here, but hopefully if this stuff sounds familiar it'll make a bulb or two click:

I have three counts of Infa having 93+ online, two counts of 50+ in vent (checked well before TW) and one count of a person saying they weren't allowed entry to the TW. (didn't specify if a leader denied it or because it was full)

I also heard it was quite a frustrating war for you all in terms of players not doing as they're told leading to frustrating leadership deaths, with Eo being the calm voice saying "don't worry it's just because of a monday war."


Don't bother telling me if I'm right or wrong; NOT saying I don't trust you or I'm pompous and arrogant enough to believe every single thing I'm told is correct because they're MY sources and I'm Jesus and therefore mine are correct, I simply mean I prove my sources right or wrong with trial-and-error and I've yet to need sources on Infamous in THIS regard so these are still fairly "new." If they're right, I'll know in time, if they're wrong, I'll know in time.

actually the original point of the thread is if certain old players are still existent. the topic went way off.

Then again, back to your point. I believe people can complain however they want to if they are actively involved in it. If there were no conflict it wouldn't be interesting, and a "Perfect World Peace" will come about. Who really wants that kind of utopia anyways?

It really doesn't matter how the wars are played, either by stacking or merging, it's all the matter of strategy. So yes, I agree with you that people should stop complaining about all the major OP players are stacked in one guild. But at the same time, that faction should not complain gang banged by the rest of the server.

Dark def. has some major attendance problems...

I didn't show for Saturday war.

Showed up for Monday kinda late, joined Cata 2 squad which had 1 barb and 3 "fill-ins" (ie ppl who showed up w/o signing up and saying "any squads have a spot?" etc etc).

I'd say we had around 45 or so for TW.

Dark's BM's for that war were nonexistent (at least in terms of fulfilling their class role).

Also Chaoking is seriously worth an entire squad. Getting hit for 16k no drags when I have 20k p. def and 98 def lvls is not fun. When did seekers become so OP? b:surrender

You're whining about my ego while you assume i want to "be one of you?" Are you serious? If i wanted to be "one of you" i would have: Joined Crimson when i was asked to at 85, applied to Zulu at 90, applied to Catalyst, applied to Infamous, or joined Dark when it started. I don't know wether i would have been accepted, but i'm sure i've fulfilled all the gear reqs to be one of the cool kids since lunar bows were pro. So it seems you're just asserting that i want to be a cool kid because it works well with the topic you're QQing about.

Also, i've never implied kylin would win if i lead tw. I don't like leading TW. I'm too lagged to do it properly even if i wanted to. I much prefer killing things, and that's what i usually do. As a matter of fact, i'm pretty sure that when i discussed that tw with you, i ended my OPINION on what might have been done with "but hindsight is always 20/20" I pm'd you because i thought hoby kicking you without a word was impolite, and just WCing that seemed like a terrible idea.
