now that New Horizons have been out for some time, have any of u wiz ppl got Frozen Flame skill and how it go / do?

2nd. does Ice prison skill now cost no chi? or its just same as b4?

Ice prison is same as always. it just costs no chi on beginner area so that you can test it out n so on. like with all other classes too. they got skills that normally use chi but not in beginner map.

Also frozen flame... well some people love it. some hate it. there is already thread about it but overall its good skill in my mind. another CC skill. TBH damage isnt that great but its good. Basicly take out that dmg calculation it has and divide it by 2. For endgame geared wizzies the damage might be about same as gush/pyro combo but abit faster and has stun chance. its abit misleading. overall still awesome especially for sage wizzies.

For demons merges are kinda... oh well.. you lose alot good cc skills you most likely turned demon for... overall id say sages get alot more out of merge skills. edit. oh forgot to mention. its really 50/50 if you should merge because u lose some of hardest hitting no-chi skills of wizzie. tbh id say pick one merge and dont take other one. so either that sand one or frozen flame one to save up some hard hitting skills and extra ccs.

Frozen flame could make for a nice setup to tick someones charm and then do more damage.

40k hp barb, for argument sake. If you dont want to try to charm bypass when you get them to ~22kish hp, frozen flame lets you hit them for the charm tick and then hit for an additional 4-6k damage after for what is effectively no time, giving you less HP to need to take out before the next charm tick.
