war avatar combo bonuses

i have heard that the bonus on war avatars does not work even if u complete the whole set is this true? can someone confirm or deny this? i seen they are working in other version of pwi

    I used tthis set and it works. 100%confirmed (idk about others)

    Type "C"
    Jaden Quingfu - Verdant Quingfu - Emerald Quingfu
    Set bonuses gives +30% stats...

    And their base attack is +5, so once set is compelte it goes up to +7.

    base attack +5 is so tiny, how is the endgame card set look like ? I've seen screenshots in pwcn rebirth thread, the character info has op numbers in it such as damage, def, mdef etc.
