It's nothing to do with ARC.

1).Did you exclude your client files from your firewall/anti-virus ?If not do IT.
2).Run the game with Administrator privilege.
3).Make sure no other program is conflicting or interrupting with PWI.
4).Run "Verify" 3 times in a row(it might take some time depending on your system).
    5).Also check your bandwidth speed @ http://speakeasy.net/speedtest/
6).Make sure that your router has port 29000 open for PWI and for the PWI patcher. Your router's manufacturer's website should have the instructions on how to do this.

Run a traceroute to PWI servers :-

    1) In Vista/7, click on the Windows icon/Start > click on Search > type in "cmd"
    2) On this screen type in (exactly as it is typed here): tracert pwieast2.perfectworld.com (You can also use any of the IP addresses to our servers listed below. Try several.)
Please note there is a space between "tracert" and "pwieast2.perfectworld.com"
    3) Wait for the traceroute to complete.
    4) Right Click on the window
    5) Select the "Select all" option
    6) Hit "Enter"
    7) You will now be able to paste the text into your reply.

Really? You claim to have done every solution we've had to offer? Let's see if you can back up that claim, because I'm calling bull.

Your very first post about this came in here. It had zero useful information that could be used to provide actual help and had no responses to it. Impatiently, less than half an hour later, you posted a second thread about this but in General Discussion this time. This one also contained nothing that would have been of any real use to someone trying to help you.

Once again, you got impatient. Less than half an hour after your second thread, you posted yet another thread about this. This thread got an actual response the next day from someone who also had the same issue you did. Except for the fact that they disagreed with you and bothered to search. They went to the manual method and either fixed their problem, or happened to not care as they haven't posted since then.

Before that response occurred, you went and made your next post in a topic that was entirely unrelated with absolutely no information still. This was utterly ignored by the people who were staying on topic and was quickly swept away. A few hours after that post, yet still before the response in your third thread, you made yet ANOTHER thread about it. This time in the wrong section to boot! It was later spotted by a mod and moved appropriately but it was also ignored by pretty much everyone. This topic, much like the others, still provided zero real information. I wonder if you're noticing a pattern here yet.

Now your next post on the subject was you deciding to necro another thread while still complaining. In it, you claim to have been searching the forums and how you've done "every possible trick" and so on. Yet you somehow managed to completely miss an active topic in this that went into detail about Arc and was even showing alternatives.

And that brings us to the present where you've made this thread. You've still failed to provide any useful information. You still haven't actually shown any sign of attempting the very minimal of what people ask before delving further into the problem... which is copy/pasted all over the Tech support forums including the post above mine. And yet you're pointing fingers wildly, getting yourself worked up, and making false claims about what you've actually done that you clearly cannot back up.

So here's a thought for getting information. Try doing what the above post asks you. If that fails, go through the list in this post and actually check these things. If that fails too, provide the information asked for at the bottom of the list so you'll be giving information that the people here can work with to help you pinpoint and solve your issue. Because honestly, ranting and raving without actually doing any of that isn't going to fix your problem or help these guys figure out what your problem is so they can direct you towards a fix for it.

Yes sir ;) I have done all I can and still can not log into pwi D: I have come to the conclusion it has to be my wireless USB adaptor that is only 150Mbps! Seems Ill have to try a higher one more like 300 Mbps, or directly connect to the internet w/o adaptor :(

I HIGHLY doubt it is the speed of your wireless adapter. For two reasons.

One, I use a Netgear N150 Wireless USB on a windows XP system. If I encounter any problems it due the crappy NETGEAR wireless connection software NOT PWI. Solution: Restart adapter and reconnect to my home network all is good.

Two, and this is the biggest reason it not the speed of you adapter. Your home network speed is ALWAYS faster than what your ISP provides you. Unless you have a T1 or better which I highly doubt, any bottleneck will be at your ISP routier. Since you have posted that you were able to connect fine in the past, ITS NOT YOUR ADAPTER SPEED.

You need to provide more technical information. Without it you will not get much help.

"Done it all..." What? If you don't give specifics, you're not going to get help.

While it's interesting that you have such theoretically high-bandwidth wifi connections, that's not going to matter with the game.

A standard Wireless-G signal with about 14MBps throughput will be fine for the client, as long as there isn't any other traffic or interference.

All in all though, unless you post actual information, no one is going to help you. Also, spamming the forums just makes people who actually can help, (like me), completely ignore you.

Most likely it's a network issue between yourself and the server.
    With that in mind...
    I give you this....
People hate me for posting this over and over, but damnit, there's just nothing better to say until you bother to provide more information. And seriously, there's a much better chance that the issue is either on your end, or somewhere between you and the servers. Unfortunately, that can't be determined until you give us something to work with.

Common reasons that you can't connect to the servers, experience disconnects, or just have lag in general...

    1. You don't have the three .exe files for the client set to run as administrator.
    2. You don't have the game directory set as an exception in your antivirus/security software. (Especially with Norton360 or MSE)
    3. Your network adapter driver is out of date and needs to be refreshed.
    4. Your local area network settings are improperly configured.
    5. You have more than one firewall and don't realize it. (Common with some modems.)
    6. Your firewall settings are too strict. (Very common withNorton360, ZoneAlarm, and Commodo firewall.)
    7. Your router is configured improperly. (Or it's just a cheap router that can't handle the traffic you're putting on it.)
    8. you have a bad network cable.
    9. You're using a wireless network connection. (Which leads to another huge list of possible issues.)
    10. You have a lot of traffic on your local network that is bogging your router/modem down.
    11. There's a fault in your router.
    12. There's a fault in your modem.
13, You have a bad phone cord plugged into your modem.
    14. There's an issue with your house wiring.
    15. There's an issue with your outside wiring.
    16. A squirrel chewed on your phone/cable line at the pole and it's raining. (I have personally had this happen.)
    17. A switch/router at the CO for your ISP is having an issue.
    18. One of the many hubs between you and PWI is having an issue. (Most common)
    19. There is heavy sunspot activity. (Has happened within the past two years)
    20. There's a regional router outage. (This has happened more than a few times. More often occurs with trunk lines crossing large bodies of water)

That's just a few. Sometimes, the easiest fix is something like shutting down your Modem/Router/PC for three minutes and then bringing them back up. Unfortunately, all you've done is complain about having high latency. You haven't done anything that might lead someone who can help you, to be able to help you resolve the issue you're having.
The more details you give, the better I can narrow it down and tell you what the issue is.

At an absolute minimum I would need a copy of a traceroute to the server, and detailed information about how your local network is configured. In some cases, even a published Speccy log.

You don't have to be a tech wiz to provide any of this information either. You just need to be able to click the links I provided and to read and comprehend/follow instructions. I can understand you're frustrated, but sitting and complaining about a connection, without actually ever attempting to fix it, or provide information for those that can help you fix it, it probably one of the stupidest things you can do. If you feel offended by this statement, then you really need to take a closer look at reality.
SweetieBot can you report server status?

Oh, and awesome post OPKossy, I would have said the same thing if I was here instead of having Christmas.

Thank you sweetiebot. I was pretty sure there wasn't anything wrong with the servers.

Now to just wait for the OP to figure it out an post actual information so we can help, or to disappear into QQland. (Usually they do the latter because providing some simple information that I've even provided instructions for is too difficult.)

Also, thanks to the OP for increasing my post count. I trolled all of your other useless posts too.

That just made it faster. It wouldn't be the first time I've gone on a "witch hunt" around here. b:chuckle

If I had seen two or three of his threads, I would have done the same thing you did. b:victory
