2nd reincarnation legendary quest broken?

i have the quest, i have the quest item in my inventory but i cant "dig" the flame o,o

its the big exp quest that you get after 2nd reincarnation, would suck if it was broken.

Looking at the SS, have you tried like walking through it? 'Cause I remember having to do that with the purple things at SP for the first reincarnation quest. Maybe it works like that.

Anyone know if we can summon our self back after getting lvl 100 2nd time ? or we should wait for something ?

Have you tried;

Clicking the item in your bag, while standing on top the 'flame'?

Clicking on the flame on the ground i.e. selecting it and then right clicking the item in your bag?

i have tried everything, approaching the flame from every possible direction and dimension, clicking, dragging, dropping...
i also found the quest in the chinese database and it says "dig".
seems we got the wrong item (letter) to do so?

Im 2nd awaken , i press summon all happen is u can store ur gained exp after lvl 100 in demon book ... but wtf after ?!

That's the entire point of reincarnation.
You can't just level back to 100 and then jump back to 105.

The idea is that you reincarnate.
Your first historical level was 105, so you can't level that one up anymore.
If you reincarnated the second time at level 100, you technically speaking have to level that historical level up to 105 by infusing XP you gain into that.
After that historical level hits 105, you'll still have to level your actual toon from level 100 to 105.

So pretty much if you reincarnate at level 100 twice, you have to level from 100 --> 105 3 times (twice by infusing your own xp into the historical levels and once for your actual character)

Says it is repeatable after failure. I'm guessing that means you can trash and pick up again?

There was a gold quest in the 1st reincarnation quest line that for some people was sending them to the wrong co-ords, trashing and picking up again fixed this.

Perhaps this may work here?

i wont trash this thing... took me 1 hour and half quests over 50 tele stones <.< .... Also it wont work , cause everyone have same problem .

If you trash it you would only have to go back to 'Lio Gianni 438,405' to pick it up again and come back.

I doubt it would trash the entire quest chain from the start of your 2nd reincarnation, but yes as no one knows or has done this yet, I appreciate your concern and unwillingness to do so.

Several people on lost city already reincarnated twice. Just have to get the item from forge where you get the new skills

astypoo was referring to the quest getting stuck in the questchain after 2nd reinc, not to 2nd reinc quest itself

Random question inspired by healthy paranoia:

My original level was 103, then I rebirthed.
Is it safe to rebirth again at like 100 or 101 and still be able to get ALL the stat points I missed for not being 105? I know logic says of course it is but I'd appreciate a first-hand experience that says yes, I'll be able to get my first rebirth's 103 to 105 and my second rebirth's 100 to 105 aswell.

When you activate the book demon in the Ancient Tome, you can choose which previous life to feed XP to.

If you should reach 105 before activating the book demon, it will wake and start feeding XP to your prior life. (No idea which has priority if there are two.) It will go back to sleep when your prior life or lives reach 105.

(Not first hand experience, but that's what's been reported on the Japanese blog about Perfect World, and it's generally reliable.)

Weird ideas:

-fly above flame and try various combinations of clicks
-try clearing more quest spaces/inventory spaces
-try going to flame, and relogging while at the exact spot
-try having perfect hammer in inventory
-try dragging a mob to near flame and aoe the mob and see if you get any response from flame

and for those able to decipher Chinese...

try finding in pw china forums how the chinese people's do this part of the quest chain. I suspect that you do need an 'item' in inventory, but that you have to go somewhere to get that item. Where? What item?

Actually, it seems more like you feed xp to the book itself, not lives. When you have enough xp generated in book, you can edit prior lives and that number is then reduced from the xp the book has. But I would have to rebirth again to see how the ancient tome looks like after. Not feeling like doing it, already spending way too much time not farming during 2x.
