Wizard Guide to Solo Pv

i would love to see videos of wizards solo runs!
im a r9 third cast wizard and i can do 3 runs in 15min.

Pretty sure there are faster ways so i love to have more expert advice.

Seen utube video of a wizard doing one giant pull..but missing quiet the bit of mobs.b:surrender

This is a fairly old video now, but you can see how I used to do PV. http://youtu.be/9rfbe2uFWdM?t=9m49s

I now just BT at the end to one shot the mobs (much faster than a few cycles of zhen) and a few other minor things (slightly changed the route I pull the mobs).. I can easily fit in 7 runs per token now, I'm thinking with a few more tweaks it may be possible to get 8 instances per token (16 PV instances/day).

Jesus....xD...gonna take a lot of practice to run pv like that >_<
his 12+ with impressive gear ... idk if i got enough hp/defence right now do do it all in one big pull.. too many mobs hit me im gone lol

How do you activate the mobs by yourself 7 times?

I have several 10x chars I can open on :P Right now I open 14 a day for myself, and open a few others for friends when they ask

So tried the same thing as in your old video...well with my r9rr only at 7+ its deff tough.
Good few times i nearly died and shat my pants lol.b:surrender

I can do pv in 2 big pulls now ^^

i could do 1 like yours but so risky..i dont got the hp to risk it

It generally helps to have them open already. I have friends open them for me as well as using my own alts. I have one open on my squad before starting, so my wizard enters to a populated instance. In another window I have one of my other alts ready with a populated instance and already have my wizards name typed out in the squad invite thing. While doing the DB at the end I can get the invite off, and when necessary get a second invite after dropping squad to clear the instance so my wizard can open too. Other people can open ahead of time too, so they just need to send an invite as you're going into the Sapphire Avatar.

I run 8 pv in one token usually with 10-20 seconds to spare. The route I take is same as aderps but I don't stop to nix mobs. At boss I undine and gush it once then set up zhen until it kills boss and frogs. I'd rather stop Zhen after mobs are dead but without ember storm it's annoying to kill frogs so I just leave Zhen up to kill frogs

Yeah I'm running 8 pvs/token now, and now just alpha male at about the half way point (no longer nix or hit the mobs till the end). When I get to the boss I just BT to one shot the mobs, sutra the boss and then open zhen for frogs. I use the new water barrier to fill my chi at the start of every run and swap to stone barrier (usually have full chi just before alpha male, so swap barriers then).

Ok i have a question. How do you manage to keep agro of the whole valley to make 1 pull per valley?

Is it with bramble? Is it with genie earthquake?
I gooned to 105 so my pv experience is not extended. Atm i do 8 runs with 2 tokens as i dont have more alts to open.

I've been using lvl 1 tangling mire at the midway point. It has 20m range, 15m aoe, only 30 energy. It does slow mobs by 6% for 10seconds but that just adds 0.6s of delay so it's kind of negligible. Earthquake is good if you get stuck but I doubt wiz have that problem with purify spell.

I run a fairly similar path to Asterelle, although with purify (infinite holy path with no immos) it is possible to zig zag a bit more and get more of the mobs. One trick I picked up from Aeliah is that if you show mobs on the mini map and zoom in all the way, you just need to keep them within view on the mini map to prevent going too far and having them reset. It is necessary to aggro the mobs (hit them in some way) once per run, which I do at the beginning of the second room (where Asterelle is @ 41 seconds http://youtu.be/4ePWX8iLXd8?t=41s).. and I prefer alpha male to aggro them. Earthquake has a fairly short range and often times I miss mobs, and tangling mire/whirlwind can lag a bit due to the animation. When I kill the mobs, I generally just group them up.. get some distance with a proc and BT to one shot them all, then sutra boss and zhen the frogs. If I'm tight on time it is a little faster to undine -> gush -> pitfall the boss, run to middle of where frogs spawn -> ironguard -> sutra combo boss (kill in 3-4 hits) and then BT (while still no channel) to one shot mobs + frogs same time.
