what are good mobs for farming grease to craft lvl 1-3

    Levels 15-17. If you want to know the mob with the best drop rate of any given item, just look it up in the pwdatabase. This is the database entry for grease. http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/825 It's not affiliated with PWI so it isn't updated with each expansion the moment the expansion comes out. But thus far every patch has wound up in there eventually.

    Go ahead and farm grease if you're low level and /going to make stuff for yourself; if you're just leveling blacksmith, and especially if you're high level already, save yourself some grief and farm mineables. There are several weapon categories (I usually make pole weapons, but there are other choices) where you can make level 1, 2 and 3 weapons without using any mob drop mats.

    The rings at that level also need only mineables. Only tailoring requires mob drop mats, either cotton thread or animal fur.
