Patcher wont update

I am having problems on all 4 computers with the client update patcher.They go through the verify process then when it starts to update it gets stuck there and doesnt update anything although it says updating files.Does anyone have any suggestions?I even tried to verify several times but it gets to updating files and still gets stuck.

    first add patcher to winrar and .*rar file and next chane name to ec_patch_760-765.cup in winrar and delete .htm

    and sry my english is bad xD

    Well I still cant get any of the 4 computers to update.Need suggestions please.Cant they add the patch to the manual update page and I can update it that way?

    you can try DLing manual patch and patching it, after that just have to launch and let the patcher itself update

    Also have same problem here.after downloading the manual patch it says "update files corrupted.unable to update!" b:cry

    yep i tried downloading the manual, but the server keeps killing the download. Patcher froze up last time but i was mining bitcoins at the same time b:chuckle

    So trying the patcher again

    I don't exactly know how to patch the update manually. can someone please respond asap and give me a step by step? this is my first time

    yup 2 hours into manual patch corrupted . . . then whole thing failed

    I'm also having patcher issues, and not sure how to manually patch it. It's about half downloaded now. I saved it to my desktop, is that fine? Do I just run the client after it's done or do I need to put it into the folder? If the latter, I need to know where.

    I don't know if this will help but this is what i did downloaded the manual patch, after all that stuff got done I restarted my laptop.

    Okay so you just open the file itself then and it opens the patcher too... Good to know.

    Seems to be working properly now, so I'll get back on whether it patches completely.

    Edit: Thanks Breannak, but I wanted to know how to install the patch not just download it. It's figured out already so dw.

    that is what i am trying again. 3-4 hours now and installer never gets to 25% b:chuckle

    scratch that, my download of the manual keeps getting closed.

    Yeah well i had to uninstall PWI pretty much and Arc won't install to get pwi back on. My laptop won't download nothing now either >.<

    I'm new to this game, and i'm already hooked.

    Automatic update failed. Manual didn't work either.

    I even deleted Arc and PWI and reinstalled them, thinking that would work, but no such luck.

    Anyone have the heart to walk a n00b through this?

    Status: Yeah no luck. Two hours in at about 90%, suddenly "files corrupted".

    Back to being stuck with you lot. I just started the game three days ago. I'd rather not have to quit permanently so soon.

    its my second day of updating... why oh' whyb:sad

    oh' common' dec 25 is coming and updating those patches are still not yet done.. then what's next' do i need to wait till new years day to complete the updating?b:angry

    fix this pwi before adding something again in the next maintenance..b:sad

    or do i need to say b:bye in pwi and find better games to play..

    I am still having problems with both kinds of updates so I ask if someone out there is nice enough, to compress their entire file in a winrar folder and put it on the internet? I prefer downloading the latest patch and replacing the old game please. this would also help a lot of other people that are having problems

    well figured out the problem of my not being able to download the manual patch... seems pw is on one of the malware watch lists i use for a malware blocker so it was preventing me from getting the patch

    If you are having a popup error when trying to download the manual or automatic patch, we have found the solution!

    Go play a different fracking game.

    pwi is not updating on my pc this is like 4 days i left my pc on and it haven't updated as yet, the update is moving but everytime it has reached the end it restarts again and says something about verify files, what is going on

    For everyone having this trouble updating.....

    You must exclude the client folder from all AV scans. You should also disable the real-time scan when you are updating.

    If you say that you don't have any AV software, there's a good chance you're wrong. Most PC's come with it, and it's built-into newer versions of Windows.

    Once all that is taken care of, verify your files three times. Once never fixes anything, and the second time usually misses some files.

    Then reboot.

    Then download the manual patches. It's like 30 times faster than auto patching.

    This answer has only been posted about 500 times already, you guys should search the forums more.
