    dunno what planet people come from to think MMO's are full of cooperative people....

    why should any random squad have to conform to that type of BS, if your gear is subpar to the instance then you should already know you are going to have to rely on friends/faction to get you over the hump. all the people who worked hard for their gear went through it (maybe not all), why are you so special that you warrant special treatment.

    i don't get how you accuse these ppl of being lazy because they farmed gear (well the ones who spent 100% money might be lazy). it is not lazy to have a certain situation in mind when forming a squad, if you dont like it spend YOUR teles and form a squad YOURSELF!

    everyone else on this game is a lazy bad player because they won't enable you to enjoy coasting along while other people do the work...... indeed.

    This thread should be stickied and referred to whenever someone posts a "I've been thinking about coming back to the game" or a "I just downloaded this game, which server should I join, and how do I get started" thread.

    It's certainly the best justification for people to either run like hell, or just treat it as a Single Player game and not ever expect help or any kind of kindness.

    Face it, after 7 years the playerbase in this game has distilled down to the most OCD, 18 hour a day, self-righteous and/or hopelessly addicted ("I can't quit - I have too much time invested in this damn game") group of cranks and misfits I've ever seen.

    After all, what motivation would any of these 7 year, all-of-their-waking-moments players have to help level yet *another* newbie? **** that! I got mine, let 'em buy theirs like everyone else but *me* does!

    By all means, keep trying to light the place on fire - it's gotta burn down eventually.

    Why do we have factions again? Oh, right, cooperative play is meant to be a thing in this game. Maybe if it benefits the group, it'll benefit you in the long run as well. Quote above seems the nature of a stereotypical "cashed to win" fellow.

    In my own experience, there -are- helpful factions out there. I'm in DragonDen myself on Morai. Not much organized activity, but if you ask for help with something, you're likely to get it. Reminds me to try and get some regular TT/Nirvana runs started... quite a bunch of lower level players still among there.

    what about my quote makes me "cash to win" (which i'm not, it's called having a supportive faction and beginning this game with a group of friends)??

    in general all you did was say -part- of what i said yet still try to justify this "you are tired of shepherding newbs around? must be a snotty cash shoppa" mentality.

    who are you or anyone else to try and guilt people into doing what they don't want to do? because it doesn't benefit you? that type of thinking is just contradicting at best.

    read what i wrote again.... you need to make friends and/or find an appropriate faction to help you over certain humps in this game.

    if you are falling to whining on forums, then you are either doing something wrong or you might an annoying idiot who randomly whispers people to run their fb29 for them without thanks.
