So. Why am I playing anymore?

I logged on today for the first time in over a week. Why? Because my internet has been down for that long, due to storms.

So. I see that a bunch of people got a few hundred dollars worth of Ocean orbs for free. Everyone who was able to was allowed to get 3 of them legitimately. And now I'm not allowed to, because of the weather.

On top of that, there hasn't been a good pack sale for a long time now, so Tokens are 16-18k now. This means that nobody wants to run FCC because it costs 650k+ for a set of hypers. Food is going for 2k per mana food or 6k per hp food. So, it costs around 800k to run a few FCC's.

This also means that wine is expensive, so then nobody is doing BH51/59/69/79/89.

So, I basically logged on, wasted a bunch of teles, got REALLY bored, and logged off.

-snip bunch of other games-, and I haven't even felt like playing THAT PWE title for months now. >_>

    I usually don't reply to QQ threads but the weather is bad and I'm bored so here it goes. I am sorry to hear that you didn't get any ocean orb because your internet was down, but those are the breaks sometimes. Yes token prices are pretty stupid, you should come to RT where they go for 21-25k a pop. But if you really wanted to I'm sure you could come up with some way to pay for those hypers if you really wanted them. When you hit level 90 you can use this: http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/29466 and this:http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/29467 they are free and just as good as any other hp/mp pot. Until then I guess suck it up. OH hey I have a great idea too, why use wines at all? They are a convenience and not a necessity so no need to get them. If you find fun somewhere else, please by all means go have fun. Try not to waste your time on a senseless QQ thread for no real reason that I can see.

    I'm sorry that the weather ruined your chance at a great opportunity. I know the feeling trust me. I hate having to play an online game and lag destroys the fun. But what are we to do? Rollback the weather? C'mon now.

    Eh. Inconsistencies, huh? What's inconsistent about "A bunch of people got a ton of free stuff that effects gameplay, and I didn't even though I tried"? It's JUST like Goons glitch again, except I intentionally didn't partake in that because I knew it violated ToS and I didn't want to get banned. Since a grand total of NOBODY got banned for that... I STILL feel cheated. >_>

    Meh. Flew SFO to IDA, downloading a new plane and going to do... IDA to JFK. Maybe if I can find a new 777 model I like, I'll do JFK to Hong Kong.

    I know I've been very cautious of recommending my friends to play PWCN's original product. Usually if I recommend that my friends play anything originally from PW that they check who the developer is before they advance on to ANY of PWI's products. Like Blackight Retribution or maybe Neverwinter Nights Online or maybe RaiderZ but I keep warning my friends. Be careful of PWI's games because there is a bit of wallet gouging and not really much degrees to 'freedom'.

    Also then really do a good hard look at the cash shop if it has any items that sell power over selling inventory space, cosmetic items, convenience items. Versus random pack items (collectible games through gear treadmill) or power items or even items from the cash shop that are "enabling content" like charms. It is really a very insidious.
    Time won't wake/make you wiser, but it will definitely wound you.

    I hope you meant IAD and not IDA on a widebody... lol

    Cool!!! Try a LAX-SYD on the 777, ATL-JNB on the 777 and PDX-AMS on the A330 (I've worked those actual flights irl... b:chuckle ) Also love landing in EYW in thunderstorms and trying the old approach into HKG b:laugh

    Still my absolute favorite is the 767-300 JFK-CDG. (lived that route and jfk-mad irl for ever... lol)

    lol I did SFO to IDA in a Beechcraft King Air 350.

    The long haul route I've done the most was SFO to Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific. If I ever fly to anywhere in Asia, I'm flying Cathay...

    I also spent a good 6 months just flying 747-400D's in Japan, and a good 9 months just flying bush planes in Alaska. :D

    You can, but there is a major difference: It's far far more expensive(but it didn't stop a few people). I like it that way of course. After doing some land missions, it starting feeling very bland, so I stopped playing. I loved the community though, much more mellow.
