On my server about 10 ppl quited the game cause of this happening. Cause everyone have +10 round gears atm. How should we attend TW's NW's against them ? when it takes us to refine one gear +10 monthes. GM's should take into consideration of a roll back. This is just an abusement. And surely if nothing changes i am quiting the game and not wasting my money by purchasing zen when ppl getting everything for free

This it ain't Private Servers money for free and Orbs.Something fair only to get back what everyone lost,nothing less nothing more.not zen or +10 orbs.And secondly when they saw is a server problem they should had shutdown the servers till further notice.without ppls getting anything,while actually was a problem with the servers.and now they nag, about the lost fruits.bleh.and i don't think ppls should be getting half a billion back in items.are peoples that they didn't do half a billion in a few days,even more mostly were offline.

If they can roll back the servers to the exact moment (or close to) when the code was released then it would be fine (which is highly unlikely), but if they have to go back to the previous maintenance then hell no. I already lost 4 days on several characters when they had the roll back on Archosaur server, I am not losing another 3 days because of a few unscrupulous people. I have been leveling one character like crazy for the past couple days, if they roll back to previous maintenance she is going to lose 10 levels as well as a cultivation. I don't power level in FC, I level solely by questing, that is hours and hours of playing.

I didn't even know about this code, I was in bed sleeping when it was released. I just woke up to find the forum buzzing with it. So why should those of us who didn't use/abuse the code be punish because of what others did. And rolling back the servers to previous maintenance would punish everyone.

People need to think things through before they start going off the deep end and demanding ridiculous things.

Edit: New thought. I wonder if it's possible to say roll back individual players. Basically take every single person who used that specific code and roll them back only. That would be more fair then rolling back the entire server.

So, everyone just relax and let's see what they figure out.

The code "abuse", from what I've heard, wasn't actually intentional by everyone, some ppl just got more orbs than others, and in some cases a LOT more. Now, did they DO something to make that happen OR did PWI just send them more orbs? We all know that PWI is not infallible and they are always having mistakes and game glitches that allow ppl to take advantage of them.

So, let's just see what they (PWI) decides, and THEN we'll decide if that is something that we can live with.

I prefer no roll back.

The orbs that some people did receive, they cannot sell, they can only use them on their own BOUND gear, so they cannot even sell the gear after it's refined. Let's not be hasty with our desire to PUNISH ppl for 1. something that may not have been in their control and 2. for something that wasn't as great as we are all thinking it was.

There will be MORE value, in lost items and time, lost from a roll back, than what people are THINKING was the advantage that a few people gained from an orb glitch/abuse.

I did not get in on the bounty, BUT just because people did, does that mean I want to punish many? and possibly lose things that I gained over the last few days? NO, what about people who may have just farmed their g16 cube neck, THAT is not something that can be regained in a few days for sure. How many other people may have gotten a piece of gear, that took months to attain, within the last few days? I know that "best case scenario" after roll back, you'd have all the components to make the piece again, BUT what if we don't? We all know how PWI is notorious for issues...ijs, that's why we are all here on this thread.

If many ppl lose things like THAT just to punish a few who got a few BOUND orbs, then we are not thinking along the proper lines.

I feel really sorry for the ppl at PWI that wanted to do something nice for the players and end up getting severely burned for their troubles.

I highly doubt abusers will be caught and punished- and all server rollback is a huge step to make which will bring its own problems and QQ.

Why not raise refinement levels so +10 is equivalent to above average refines (+7)

Personally i want a roll back but if they dont roll back i expect to get a **** ton of +10 orbs to +10 my gear just like all the other people that did so on RT. That would only be fair. If they dont roll back or give us all a large amount of orbs then i can pretty safely say many many people will protest or quit at this point. PWE has really messed up this time.

I have tried to redeem the code today, and to find out that you PWI desabled it. What on earth ... if you want to "compensate" for something, just do it so that you won't mess up more, cause right now, the thing you wanted to compensate it pales in comparison with the "rageqq" & all the complains you got in past 12h.
Honestly,if you can't do something good that won't mess up, then better don't do anything.
It's annoying to see other ppl already having a stack of dragon orb when others not having at least the intended gift items.

*Sigh ... when i tough i'v seen all possible "bugs" now you hit us with this ...honestly, what'd be next one? getting r9 set for free?

It's not ridiculous to demand a rollback. What is ridiculous is a majority of people who abused the code now running around in +10 gear. I would rather lose every penny I farmed these last few days. It's only ~3 days. And honestly, no offence, those hours and hours of questing aren't going to mean anything when the gear divide between those who did not and those who did glitch becomes apparent.

everyone should just wait and see what happens no reason to quit a game if you like it, you didn't have it before so why bother if u loose it, and take time to realize that stuff happens here and in all games, this mistake happened because pwi made the mistake not the players, when you try to send it and it says wait 10 mins and it gives no confirmation of it going through the first time naturally in 10 mins you would try again, let them fix the problem it all started with the arch server in the first place and ppl whining because arch got something and the other servers didn't, well QQ it's over just let them fix it even if it's rollback or keep who cares, time to move on an play the game, banning ppl for this is ludicrous most probably didn't do it intentionally and those that did will find another way to do something else to scam whatever.

The thing is - many said once the redeem page got laggy - they received the multiple orbs then (more than 3).

And some I don't think even opened what was in their mail because they would of seen the many items (what was it like 10 letters?) was not all orbs but other items in addition.

Many people were leveling during this time, like me leveling pets after an hour trying to get in the cube, I opened a few packs I bought from vendors and won some nice things and etc.

It seems as if it was an overload to the PWI part of it that caused this - why punish everyone?

I'm still waiting for them to punish those that zipped to 105 by exploiting the FF/FC Dragon Glitch - which was well over a year and a half ago.

You think too small. Try 10+ with orb, and free tishas from the event gold to try and get 11+ and 12+...if you fail that's ok- cause you got a whole stack of 10+ FREE orbs to keep trying.

I don't want a roll back.
I want the team to fix their mistake without making more of them. This was supposed to be compensation and not yet another HUGE blunder!

I used the code ONCE on only ONE account and I want to keep the (small) reward I got, I want to keep my exp and the sage book I managed to get myself in the midst of all this.

It is time for PWE to put some real effort into their work and do something right for once.
We're tired of freaky servers that can't find our characters and tired of getting stuck in RoR.

So please PWE, we CS alot, now use that money to pay some ppl to fix this the hard way.

Yea....sorry i dont see anyone being awesome just see a bunch of people that have abused the code and DON'T want a roll back now cuz they like having OP refines over other people and dont want to lose them or their clearly unfair advantage over other people. I also have a guildie in my main guild who +11'ed two to three pieces of gear with this.
You literally have a good handful of people who exploited this and, because of this and this alone, are world's stronger than those who did not exploit this. +11 is no laughing matter, and +0 to full +10 implies the code was redeemed over 20 times by a singular person.


Aside from this, you know why people were so quick to exploit? Because people question PWI's ability or desire to enforce it's own rules. Blame dragons glitch. Tons of people hit 105 and have been nothing but REWARDED for it, and what was their punishment? 3 day character ban -at worst-. Thus, people see this, they know damned well there's a way to exploit it and that certain people always will, and, in a desire to not be left behind, begin exploiting as well.

This cannot be allowed to happen. If PWI doesn't roll this back? Your game has lost any and all integrity it had and people will exploit -EVERY- possible thing they can to get ahead. You're going to lose tons of players who simply don't want to bother playing a game where those that are lucky, desperate or obsessive enough end up winning and coming out on top for no other reason than a pattern of catching onto exploits quicker and having the time and patience to exploit every single one of them.

If you think the exploitation of this code was bad? The next exploitation instance would be x1000 times worse if you do NOT roll this back. Do not lose your integrity.


3) The longer you wait to rollback, the worse this'll be

Seriously. If you roll back RIGHT NOW, the things that might get hit are the Thursday tournament, TW bids (I do think it'd be safe to roll back to just after the TW bids at least) and that's it. If you wait? I know you guys don't work weekends, so there's two nation wars this weekend, multiple TWs, and people doing PVE and instances round the clock.

Don't hesitate on this, don't weigh alternative options. Just do it. Yes, you're going to have people flooding forums saying "BOOOO ROLLBACK I HATE YOU," but you'll have that regardless at this point. Rolling back is the smartest and fairest decision at this point, and delaying that decision only makes this worse, not better. People WILL have more legit reason to complain if it takes a week to roll back, then everyone loses a week's worth of in-game work.




4) How it was done....?


The moment we saw the code, several people in my guild had a feeling it'd be exploited and started looking for ways to do so. (some of us wanting to do so, some of us wanting the knowledge of how it was done) One guy was eventually saying that if the page generated a "Please try again in 10 minutes" message for you, that was basically the green light for you to spam the page, refresh it like mad or whatever and viola, you got multiple letters.
