Newbie (kinda) curious about Twilight Temple

Newbie in that I haven't been around all that long, at any rate.

So, I'm curious about Twilight Temple. I have two quests in the first act at the moment, a simple "find the NPC" and beating the first boss Chintien. As I'm not part of a faction, and am considerably ahead of my friends in levels, I'm wondering what the likelihood of being able to solo it successfully is.

Some stat stuff will probably help about now wouldn't it? This is all off the character sheet.

Level 68 Cleric
2500 HP, around 5400 mana
95 physical attack, 571 magical attack
617 physical defence (I'm squishy, I know), over 3700 in each elemental defence

Skills:
Level 10 on the buffs (defences, mag attack and regen rate)
Level 10 Ironheart Blessing and Wellspring Surge
Level 2 Chromatic Healing Beam
Level 5 Blessing of the Purehearted
Level 5 Purify
Level 1 on Element, Dimensional and Silent Seals
Level 1 Plume Shell
Level 10 Plume Shot and Great Cyclone
Level 2 Razor Feathers
Level 8 Thunderball
Level 1 Wield Thunder
Spark Burst
Level 2 Siren's Kiss

I'm aware of the need for Ultimate Substances to get in, and that stacking IB is something that is almost always a smart idea. My genie has a back-up heal as added bonus as well. I am rather behind on cultivation quests, but I'm working on that as we speak.

Any hints and/or tips would be appreciated ♥

    Hi there,

Firstly welcome to Dreamweaver, I hope you're enjoying our server so far.
As for the quest killing Chintien I know it needs to be done in squad mode (4 people minimum to start) so your chance of solo is nil.

I have just pmed you in game, maybe I can help you out now. :P

    Kijinka.

Oh bah, I forgot about that. Thank-you though c:

Still somewhat curious about it, since I saw one of the weapons is better than my current one. Might be worth grinding for it.

Actually I just noticed the quest is in Single mode, which explains a lot. So question still valid, sob.

    Bosses...

I am also fairly new, being a level 73 Mystic. I have been wanting to try TT, but the faction I'm in is very small (although I enjoy being in it), so I usually can't get anyone to help me. I think I also have the Chintien quest, so I could join giving you 2/4 players, 3/4 if Kijinka comes.

I'll try PMing you at some point. You can PM me, but I am swamped with work right now, so in all likelihood, I will be AFK in the Realm of Reflection.

Hmm, always thought it was squad mode. I guess you learn something new everyday. The single mode bosses are a lot weaker than the squad mode versions. So it will be considerably less difficult than the boss we faced off with earlier. Perhaps you would be able to solo it :P.

Sounds good to me. I'll be on in a little while, so we'll see how things go.

Yeah, the boss one is solo. Strangely though, the NPC find IS required to be in squad mode. It's odd. Perhaps I might be able to find someone to tag along with in that while they get their shiny stuff, I can just find the NPC. Who knows?

Hopefully though I can beat the boss, since it would be nice to be able to farm it for a new weapon.

Although it is a 'single mode' quest, I believe you can actually take a squad. When fighting Chin, you need to be the main (or sole) damage dealer. So your best option is to take along someone who can help you with the minor mobs and heal you while you kill chin.

    Nope, I didn't miss anything.

It is the (not cultivation) quest called 'Chase'.

Kill Chintien in single simple mode to rescue the children.

The kill Chintien quest is single mode 1-1, and soloable by a cleric (Chintien can be range tanked in single mode, unlike squad mode.) You must do the majority of damage to get credit if you go in with others. (The turn in NPCs also spawn in squad mode, but I'm not sure if you can actually complete the quest in squad mode.)

The other level 60 quest you'd get for Twilight Temple is Archaeologist, which requires you to go in squad mode 1-1 to meet an NPC and turn in the quest. There are several other quests to pick up and do in there.
