    I was going to write some stuff, but you know what, what gives. Its not to my benefit to spread this information in any way. You are all right, celestial swords has no legitimate uses whatsoever.

    Well after testing the skill I've come to the conclusion that I'm still out geared to risk using it to purge as Aster said archers rely on genie for survivability BUT someone who is tanky enough can use this skill to they're benefits.

    Ways to use your skill to your advantage:

    1. While casting Wings of Grace, Spam CS for a possible purge (then leap away or IG auto attack with CS spam until purge.

    2. While kiting, spam the skill CS for a purge then stun arrow-quickshot (BV works too)

    3. Immobilize or Stun your target, auto attack and spam CS to raise the chances of purge
    .
    (Note: Keep in mind we have the ability to keep the target stun locked for a total of 18.5 seconds only works great for BM's Barbs or Sins, if your sage then 20 seconds. How?? Well we have the Genie skill Stunning Blast -Immobilizes the target for 7 seconds works great with Leaps. Stunning Blast+ Aim Low+Stunning Arrow Combo= 18.5 Stun. It also has the chance to make you immune to slow,seals,stuns
    pbre.png the discription is false it does not make your target immune to stun or slow unless it's referring to you.

    4. If your sealed by a Psy, Spam CS for a purge. (NOTE: You can't use the skill while slept or stunned but when sealed you can spam it)

    Any half *** good BM will leap in or out of a freeze

    Sins can port to you through freeze

    Barbs, yea lol unless it's a hipster barb running an anti-freeze genie

    I use this genie skill to kill people based off of the raw damage it outputs. Also a player can use this genie skill when in Seal of Gods..So good to blast off purges in group pvp when you're helpless haha.


    Anyhow, when I do my blazing arrow, I have hit some barbs for 5k damage straight with this skill, and I can land roughly 3 hits per second. That's around 15k damage just from a genie skill, along with a chance to purge.

    As archers with 32-34 range, I would think spamming chi for barrage would be much more effective at purging people...if you're one shot, then why not use Galvanic to get off a long range Barrage?

    The damage seems fun, may want to try it out but high strength genies would be uncomfortable with me used to using high mag genies for defense.
    A tactic like this is clearly not suited to defensive playstyle. However, I've always thought that sometimes offense is better than defense.

    Take for example a recent Nation Wars I fought in. I was against 10 undergeared players in a capture the flag map. There were plenty of assassins and bms, but only one veno, whom I slept the whole way into flag capture. The assassins tried their best, but ultimately they were one shots to me (they didn't have chance to use genie anyways), and they just kept giving me purify proc with their low damage. They cannot kill me when I'm buffed. However, if some of them had been beyond my max range (my range is 28, celestial sword is 30) spamming celestial sword for purges (or even using bow + celestial sword at same time, maybe with ironguard in) you can see how powerful this might be. Ironheart. Purged off. Charm ticked. Plume shell. Purged. Vanguard spirit. Purged, stunned. This isn't just made-up either, I've experienced this often... its the equivalent of having 2 archers with purge bows hitting you at the same time. Not many people can survive that, right?

    I've run into situations with extremely tanky psychic flag carriers, and between seals and purify they're impossible to pin down...except you just take 1 cleric and 1 BM and just keep him in place the whole time. Actually we did it with me and another cleric and told people not to hit him, a BM would do it much better. It's much easier to use skills than have a bunch of people derp genie skills which might proc purify anyway.

Plus if their side has a cleric, another psychic, a mystic, or any dd who can interrupt YOUR cleric, then the lock breaks down anyways. In the end, killing the flag carrier is still most reliable.

    If you can't significantly outnumber R999 as moderately geared people, there's no way to win anyway. If there's another cleric, psy, mystic, or DD then it's like 2v2 except one side has a lot better gear, so that's just not a very meaningful situation.
