Ok so i am lvling my archer and am kinda wondering wether r8r is a cheaper way to go then full g16. Also wat pieces of gear does r8 cover? plz keep in mind this wont be a big pvp char. maybe a few lower lvled tws but nothing major pvp-wise

    I would say go g16
    did some calc about the cost of r8r and it would cost more than going g16

    G16 is gonna be cheaper overall. Especially if you want useful stats since the greater part of R8R costs is easily rerolling for stats that aren't total ****... and this is after taking into account how cheap NW has made it.


    If you did choose to get it, rank would cover chest, legs, boots, wrists, and weapon. You get a belt as well but the belt is complete **** and should not be used for even PvE.

    r8r will cost more. The biggest cost from this gear (not counting rep badges which is 32 gold or so if I remember correctly) is the wedding candy needed for the boots and braces. You need 4000 tokens to make the wedding wines that you trade for candies. At current token prices you are looking at 80 mil right there. And that is just for regular r8, you still have a fee to recast it.

    I currently have r8r on my archer and really do like it. With the exception of TW and NW I only do PvE events on her. My gear is a mix of r8r and G16 (when I hit level 101 I'll add R9 ring and rrr9 belt). I have all 4 pieces of r8r armor and then G16 cape and hat. Due to set bonuses the armor gives me 2000 extra HP (1300 from r8r, 700 from G16). My armor is only +5 with immaculate citrines and unbuffed I have 9.3k HP, with barb buff I'm over 12k.

    Though rerolling r8r is expensive as well. I know I have rerolled the different pieces at least 60 times and I'm not aiming for the best stats either. I've gotten to the point when I reroll that I yell at my screen "give me anything but magic"

    R8r bow = tanking bow, def levels + resist stats with citrines in if you poor, jades if you rich

    anyways as far as 100+ builds go, R9rr> r9r > r9 = G16 > r8r > G15 > everything else
