Unable to summon mistress, devil or salvation in water

Has there been a change? I went to support someone who was fighting in water. Summons disappeared as I walked into water. Couldn't resummon them while I stood in water.

    Usually summons can be cast in water, but there's some spots in game where the summons cannot be cast. (Example: AEU)

    This was in the sea off nightscream island.

    They wouldn't attack the horntail tortoise thing in bh69 either.

    Did you try summoning them on land then swimming into the water?

    Also...Were they on follow? I've told them to wait and forgot about it sometimes

    I've noticed that too, if you run into water, but can stand there, summons usually disappear or cannot follow you; but if you swim in water, there's no such problem.f:melon

    This was probably what happened. I ran in to support a faction member, stopped and healed them - summons disappeared.
