Not able to double client now?

So before this last patch I could have my two accounts open at once. After I updated my launcher etc.. I log in one character as normal and go to open my second client, but upon trying to log in it sits there for about 3minutes and comes back and says "server network error"

Anyone else having this issue?

there was apparently an issue on some of the East coast server. it seems to be resolved now.
