Question about accounts

Not getting a response from beginner's section since nobody browses it, so I'll try here.

As a returning PWI player, I decided to start fresh and begin from level one. The problem is, every character slot on my current (oldest) account are filled. I have started deleting a couple of them, but it will take seven days before the slots are free, and I don't want to wait =/. I'm thinking of creating my new character(s) on another account I had with free space, but I'm wondering will the characters on the same account have any advantage or benefits over characters who are not? To my knowledge, there aren't any "links" within characters, and the only way to transfer items or gold by oneself is to mail them, yes? And by some chance if PWE makes (or have they already?) an event for accounts created before x date, I don't want to miss out. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Zen will obviously be stored in only the account it was bought with, so I'm assuming all the characters on the same account will have access to it?

    There's no special events other then Anniversary rewards so I guess that be about the only thing you'd lose out on with a new account. Yes any character on the same account would have access to your gold.

    One advantage to having characters on the same account would be that any gear/items that are bound can be passed through the account stash (certain items like rank gear are non-stashable). Account stash stones can be bought in the boutique for 14 gold (often they are on sale for half price). Depending on what end game gear you plan on using it is wise to put all characters that use the same gear on 1 account. If you make G16 from TT gear that will be bound once equiped, then you can only share it with other characters through account stash.

    A good way to set up accounts is to have LA and AA on one account then HA on a second with an extra cleric. This not only allows you to share your gear but also makes it easier to obtain buffs just by dual logging.

    You can use the anni code you receive in the mail on any account and toon. I had like 30 anni codes on this years anniversary i used on multiple alts. So unless you have a 100+ character with bound gear and an account stash, then no. Just make a new character on a dif account.
