Where is the blog we were promised?

So im starting this thread for 2 reasons. First off I would like to just outright ask if ANYONE FROM PWI ACTUALLY READING THIS could please give us players a possible ETA on this special blog we were promised. Secondly, so that this thread has a real point, I would like to ask the fellow gamers and forum goers reading this to post how PWI removing the DQ system effects you (or doesn't). Maybe if we keep pushing the fact that we as gamers want some explanations MAYBE (big emphasis there) just maybe PWI will actually start to listen to us gamers. I have to say one thing. Personally taking away the DQ system will not effect me very much, however the very fact that they tried to remove it with no warning is a slap to our faces. While im sure at this point in the game the cash shoppers that put tons of money into you pockets pretty much pay your bills pwi, in reality this game wouldn't be anything without us free to play gamers. Maybe its time you took that into consideration because the more free to play people you lose from the game the more likely your cash shoppers that pay your bills are gonna be leaving to.

Dude. They are implementing an in-game bot.
Astarelle already posted a link proving this. PWI is giving us a HEADS UP that they may be forced to remove DQ rewards as a result of this in-game bot, because it wouldn't be fair for people who pay the weekly/monthly fee to use said in-game bot to get something that others can't afford.
I guarantee you that once they actually know what they are dealing with and have come up with a solution, they will let us know.
They are currently going "wtf are we gonna do" while still not knowing exactly what to expect.
Give them time to figure it out. Nothing has even been done yet.Veteran PWIer.

They only seem to post any blogs during a maintenance, so the best guess would be during next maintenance.
About a place for players to have their voice heard, there are already 2 threads going, 1 in QC and 1 poll thread in general discussion, adding a 3rd won't do much besides adding more comments about it scattered around.
It sucks, it won't affect me much apart from no more free random pigments.
As much as I can understand people not liking change, specially when they do it without announcing a thing, or well... announcing it after the players find out about it first, I can't really see why this would be the end of the world and people ragequitting so badly about it.
Specially since people are now acting as if gear isn't farmable, etc, etc. DQ added nothing to gear being farmable...Soon™

This goes far beyond the talked about bot implementation. They still really need to be responsible for there blatant disrespect for us gamers by removing the DQ for no reason. This forum is here for us gamers to have a voice and that is what im doing. Im pushing the envelope cuz if someone doesnt then they will continue to do things like this.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Maybe you misunderstand OP. They have not said anything about removing DQs. They said the DQ ->rewards<- will be phased out.
As stated in the other threads, the rewards were a response to the DQ prices being dropped to 1, which was meant for CHINA not for US, however we could not reverse it, so it was compensation.
The DQ ->Rewards<- are now being phased out because we are getting something NEW.
This -was- our REALLY ADVANCED NOTICE. Like holy **** they told us about something WWWWAAAAAYYYY before it happened so that we KNOW it is happening.

I dont know where to begin with this post. First off they did NOT give us a warning they changed the in game DQ item text and until we started posting on forums asking why did they even bother to say anything. Heck they even updated the cabbage patch notes out of the blue to reflect this realizing that they hadnt said anything about removing it hoping we wouldnt notice. Oh, and if they're still "phasing out" the rewards, why aren't dq points counted anymore? They haven't been counted since 10/11 and there was not a single word about this, users had to find out themselves.0

yea as far as i know they are still counted. I have heard from a certain person that there is a good chance that the DQ point system will be ending after next maint. however i was told that that isnt 100% set in stone and the more we talk about it the more likely they will at least push the date back to end DQ. Of course if an OFFICIAL person would just make a post on some thread letting us know an ETA of when they plan on OFFICIALLY scrapping the system...That would be GREAT. XD[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Unlike a few other people in this thread I will answer the OP's question: How does it affect me.
With DQ points I get:
Perfect Chi Stones
Random Dye
Demon/Sage Cards
With the demon sage cards I get
Charms
Teleport stones
fashion
teikans and teisha's to help upgrade my gear
smilies
Sooo no DQ points none of the above for my toons. Charms are the main thing and yes I can play without them but I prefer to play with them.0 -

Of course, that won't help prices any (it would mean more demand for boutique which means higher prices), but the more they squeeze people from farming (Nirvana was one of the most profitable farming instances [by the entire endgame populace] in PWI history and it was effectively nerfed with NW, with no update to chest/canny/rap drops to reflect the deserted instance), the more people they push to charge.
It's not a great strategy though, it's a horrific, short term one, but I'm not exactly surprised about short term thinking. Clearly investors to PWE/PW Ltd saw the short term strategy and have mostly dumped stocks since 2009/2010.0 -
