So Downloading on Arc ...5% in 30 min ?

for god sake i thought about returning to the game and here i see ARC is required and to my disappointment i get the worst download speed ever wth is going on?

i know my net isnt bad cause i can download 1 gb in 22 min .....

is there any way i get PWI Download other than arc...... its horrible that software .

    Uhm there is but you'd have to sift through the arc related thread I think for the "last living link" to the PWI installer, but it isn't very recent.

    Other than that, the original installer doesn't work anymore - they disabled it. Everything goes through arc. It seems to be a very unfavorable method to downloading/playing the game.

    I used the arc download method on a spare computer and it averaged 1Mbs or better the entire time. It's not the best method but it was decent enough to do more than 5% in 30 minutes, might want to see if anything is plugging your connection.
