Sage Soul of Silence = Demon Soul of Silence?

Cause yeah I just tested and both amounted to 4 second silence. Demon is one second longer than listed, Sage, one second shorter.

Oversight? Patch error?

What is not stated here is, "the soulforces of both Psys were the same at XX,XXX" (or at least extremely close). I know you know better.

After that, another point to consider, is lag differences of individual computers and those computers communicating with servers can also influence such times.

I'll patch and test my demon SoSi and see if i get 4 secs. I'm assuming you tested in a control environment where silence was only procced once.

Yeah, soulforce has nothing to do with SoS time. It only increases the chance of SoS to proc.

Also, Sage SoS lasts for 5 seconds, and not 4 seconds.


As for the topic, I'm not sure if it's glitched or not (although I don't think it is). Maybe the sage psychic was lying about having sage SoS! xD

Basically I 1v1ed a demon, which I'd done in the past, and halfway through I thought "why does his silence time feel like sage...." cause I know it didn't used to.

After the fight we whacked each other a bit, and sure enough he had 4 seconds instead of 3, and then to top THAT off, I had 4 seconds instead of 5. If demon retains the extra silence rate? We can't conclude, because the display doesn't show a difference and the difference would be too small to accurately test. The fact that demon seems to have incorrectly patched up to 4 seconds may also suggest however that the demon extra proc rate is also void.


But we whacked each other multiple times to make sure I wasn't seeing things. It was always 4 seconds. Any sages can go test your personal duration right now and it'll be four, and yeah if you can find a demon then his'll be the same (as long as it's upgraded. Un-upgraded is still 3).


I -MIGHT- ticket this just to point it out, cause yeah, the very function of the skill is broken. And before demons say "omg way to ruin it for us," remember that your proc rate bonus might not be working either as it is now...

Well, I don't know if you need anymore confirmation on this from others but I can confirm on the sage part also for sure that it's 4 seconds...
I'm currently on a vacation so I didn't have a chance to ask demon psychics for theirs on our server x_x
