I don't think there is one, because you can make a URL be literally anything you want and use thousands of rerouting sites...

so, if that were a rule (which i am pretty sure it isn't) it would make no sense.

You are correct that it is not a rule, but simply my own opinion about posting links on this forum. I've seen things like this in the past many times, where a tinyurl is posted, and it actually linked to a malicious site, rather than what was advertised. It has happened on this forum before, so I'm not taking chances that it can happen again.

On top of that, it was your account's first post on this forum, which also added to my suspicions. No offense or ill will against you, just a moderator taking precautions based on previous experience.

But I will close this now that it does break a rule: Naming and shaming.
