GetBackers; can I get it back?

*I want to avoid having this discussion closed by a mod. Please avoid discussing any specific tickets past present or future*.

The question I have for you forum browsers is:

"Have you, at any time in the past, accidentally npced a piece of gear (of any sort) and had it returned to you with the help of a GM? If yes, what was the piece of gear you got back?"

I have also included a simple yes/no poll. Please only answer if you submitted a ticket. Clearly you won't get your gear back if you never submitted a ticket.

All civil responses welcome.

I have seen stuff been returned, some with refines/shards, some w/o. You want to give as much detail as you can though, when did the incident happen and which npc so staff can confirm it from logs. Assuming they know how to access them, never take anything for granted with this company <.<.

npced Sky demons pearl +5 about this time last year due timed item get from pack looks just like it b:surrender
got it back after ticket was sent and few weeks wait came back with no refines though

Haven't NPC'd anything and needed to have it returned but there have been plenty of times where errors beyond my control caused me to not receive an item and each time I've submitted a ticket about those, I was given the item (or compensation) fairly swiftly.

I've never personally done it, but I do know of others that have npc'd and gotten back by submitting tickets. The two main ones I'm thinking of is a friend that npc'd r9rr belt, and another that npc'd r9rr +12 josd pants, both got their items back relatively quickly.

Kitty managed to do the exact same thing about a month ago. Had "+9 Strenght"-engrave on it and +5 refine too(used it to get enough str on veno to equip her heavy armors). f:shame
Accidentally confused it with "Duke Pendant" from Dreamchaser level 30 pack, if looked quickly one mistakes them to each another too easily. Luckily there was NW the following day so Kitty farmed enough supply tokens to sell most of them and used last 42 of them to get that engraving on unengraved/unrefined replacement one Kitty had forgot in her archer's bank(had long ago bought extra one when tried to dual-client to solo FC on 90 BM/92 sin-pair and needed to have ornies on both). Submitted a ticket of course when noticed that NPCing, but closed it when got the replacement one done.

Not going to NPC anything valuable again, one time ish enough for Kitty to learnf:sweat

No, no, don't be alarmed guys I haven't personally npced any of my own gear. A close friend of mine was having some issues with her ticket, to the effect of 'nope, can't help you'. Just a complete shut down. I am assisting in creating a solid ticket case, and this thread will just be the icing on the cake. I've done a lot of stupid stuff, including once purchasing 70 yellow dyes instead of the similarly colored golden eggs, but npcing gear is one thing I haven't managed to do yet, and, after having bound my last piece, is something I should be mostly unable to do, the good stuff anyways lol. Course there's always the alts... never know!

So it seems that, even mods say 'yes it can be returned'. Thats pretty much all I need to hear, though of course you guys are welcome to keep responding.

I have NPC'd a necklace on an alt and got it back in about 2 days. same refines and everything.

PS.) Props on the thread name. I loved that show when I was younger.

I voted yes even though it wasn't gear, because I felt it was relevant that I had been reimbursed. I once NPCed a stack of TT mats because they had an identical icon to the DQs I had been recently NPCing. I sent in a ticket not to ask for them back, but rather raging about the fact that they are too lazy to make new icons or even recolor what we already have, and a few days later received the items back in the mail despite not asking for them lol.

I also (more recently) accidentally NPCed a set of 3.2 wings because they looked the same as some timed wings, and somehow had switched out with the timed ones despite my not clicking on them. They sent those back to me also though it did take some time.
