Venomancers on Morai?

Hello!
I got a simple question, with a big explenation.
Today i managed to get Phoenix Feather and Source of Force on my Veno, I asked in world chat about the price check for them to see how much more i can buy. A random person whispered me saying that I would be lucky as h**** if i ever managed to find those items. I asked why cause it felt like a natural follow up. His reply was that people on Morai server underestimate Venomancers, my question is why is that? When I played years ago EVERYONE was selling SoF and PF on the old server I was on (Dreamweaver). I just want to know why no one seem to like Venos on Morai?b:bye

The more people underestimate Venomancers in PvP, the better for us.

It's quite sad in PvE though because if people have that attitude, I guess getting into squads won't be very easy but getting a good faction and friends should solve that.

I've had mixed feelings from my server. I've heard from a lot of people that Venomancers are useless and such but I've also heard from equally as many people how awesome they are. I guess it depends on the person and what kind of experience they had with other fellow Venomancers.

On HL, there's almost no one anymore that sell those, I think it's cause people buy the herc/nix ticket from the pack since it's cheaper.

What you can do it's buy golds in the AH than buy them from the boutique.

I think the guy answer is stupid, on HL we know the importance of veno, but there's no shop selling those anymore.

I don't know why on your sever, but in general, in pve, a veno that isn't played well doesn't really add much to the party. And it's more noticeable than other classes because a lot of them don't use the key skills that got them into the squad in the first place, such as amp. Whereas as even bad clerics can (usually) be counted on to do some sort of heal (only squad heal usually, but still), or a sin can be counted on to spark+auto, a BM can usually be counted to HF even if it is a random, etc. Venos though for some reason, a lot of the bad ones do not even do the basic thing that got them brought into the squad in the first place.

Edit: Also what Bella said about the SOF/PF. What gets sold and what is expensive has to do more with supply and demand.

What kind of pack? I really want those pets, but it has been years since I last played, and loads have changedb:surrender

Perfect Chest packs have a chance to give a Hercules or a Phoenix pet ticket if you open some. I advise against opening any but other people do so they might have a ticket for sale.

You could try selling off the SoF/PF and then try to save for a ticket or wait for a sale and buy some battle pet packs then from the boutique (buy gold from AH > buy from boutique).

Just because someone say something to you in PM doesn't mean this is something everyone thinks on the server.
Personnaly I don't like venos when they are against me but I love having one (or more) in my squad

I gave up merchanting SoF/PF on Raging Tide; it used to be steady business, but now even during a pet pack sale it's hard to move... there's a lot of price resistance since gold rose, and tickets became available from perfect chests.

Don't forget that you can swap SoF and PF one for one at any pet manager, 100 at a time by quest. You'll get roughly the same number of SoF and PF from battle pet packs over time (each pack awards from 10 to 50 of one or the other of them.)

No I get that. And it's not like I take his word for it 100%, but I have noticed there is barely any Venos on Morai. Which is why i made this post.

Might just be the server. For example on my server Archers are extremely popular for some reason, or at least they used to be.

Don't worry too much about it though!

I suppose XD before R9r2/R9r3 became more realistic and possible to acquire, R9 Archers where the hottest class around here.

Yeah most people think you need to have one apprently. I have one its lvl 74. I had it before it became the latest craze and the archer kinda bores me. It's useful for jolly jones that's it. I like my veno to much.

On another note i hate archers especially ones that 1 shot me in tw/nw LOL
