Lower Player Amount in TWs

Now for those just reading the title will most likely have some massive QQ already in their heads; but just listen and think about it for a second.
Okay my suggestion is to lower the player max per Territory War to 40.
1. Less lag in the bases (my favorite thing)
2. This in my opinion would allow more smaller factions to compete in this manor.
3. Since larger TW factions have a lot of members this will allow more for multiple defenses since you can have a max of 7 in one of those TW time slots.
4. Because of reason 3, more ganking and I think a more colorful map will be present. (just a reasonable hypothesis)
5. More competition over top ranked TW guild.
6. Smaller TWs are more fun at least in my opinion, and I think this would promote a more strategic view to TW.
Yes you would still have those 15minute face roll TWs, but I believe this would promote a balancing to the TW field and offer more fun for many factions.

1. Get a better computer and/or deal with the lag like everyone else
2. Smaller factions should either grow/merge gank or gtfo
3. Larger factions would eventually disband people leave due to preference being made over what 40 to pick from the original 80. You cant attack multiple lands.

5. The same group of elites that are in the top ranked guild on your server will be the same top ranked guild with perhaps even less of a chance beating them than before.
6. Smaller TWs are fun when you are in a small growing faction. Go up against the top 40 of the top faction in your server and you'll change your mind
Making the assumption you're not in one of the big boy factions on your server. If you want better TWs for your small faction recruit more/merge or join a top ranking faction. Dont ask for something that would mean top tier factions would need to split to get the same lvl and calibre of TWs, they are already having fun TWs.
On DW there are 4 big factions that field close to 80. We have fun competitive TWs and would like to keep it that way cheers.DarkSkiesx - Demon Archer

That will sound rude, but your lag is not other people issue.

Which mean the bigger factions will have a easy time to defend stacks.

You mean less ganking, atm if a faction have let's say 105 online for TW and get stack by 3 factions with 80 people each, they will be able to defend one, while if it's 40 max, they will be able to defend the 3 stacks.

Not really, I saw some small TW that was actually boring and big that was fun.

Answers in red and I'll add that you just sound like you don't want powerful factions to dominate the map, but by capping 40 people max it would make it easier for big factions to defend stacks.
On my server the OP faction atm win TW with 30-40 people vs 80, if you cap at 40 you would actually hurt the factions that have people, but no experiences/gears.
If 2 small factions want to achieve something then they should merge to form one big faction and that's it.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Oh the massive QQ is hilarious.
1. I have a good computer and barely lag at all usually, but when you're faced with 80 ppl in your faction in a base of 80 of your opponants. You want to tell me you don't lag? Other ppl have worse computers than I so lag isn't just me.
2. Faction mergers don't always work out, if you're saying the ONLY option is to merge that shouldn't be the case.
3. Dominant factions on the map imo ruin the fun of TW. Enrage on the HT server for close to a year or more owned the WHOLE map and loved when they were faced with multiple ganks for the challenge. They've been gone for awhile now but, capping their player limit to 40 might have made them lose some lands in a multi way gank.
4. I've been in a major TW faction and it was fun but smaller TWs are a lot more fun then 80v80 face rolls. Or 80v60 or less face rolls. There were those few but good 80v80 2-3hr wars that were spectacular but they are few and far between here. It may just be this case on the HT server and that's fine but I really do think limiting the instance to 40 would promote a different and more challenging face to TW. There a core of 15 of us in the faction I am in of good in game friends, and we've trolled and beaten factions who field numbers in the mid 60s. Yes it would make things harder for those factions, that I wont dispute. If they did change the system to multiple attacks just like multiple defenses a cap of 40 per instance I believe would make things very interesting and challenging.
5. If a faction vastly out gears another, factions SHOULD be doing TTs, lunars, Warsongs, helping their members gear up to be able to compete better. I'm not saying give X person this much money for gears. I'm saying organize runs and distribute mats to those who need them on a fair basis. I have friends and plenty of other ppl in game who have farmed their full r9s3. Anything is possible with some time and dedication, and with groups much easier. I don't believe in giving someone free gears, but running an instance for someone who needs mats, badges, molds should not be anything difficult.
5. I'm not saying those top tier factions have to disband or should. I realize things on other servers are going to be different. But smaller TWs in a lot of cases provide a larger challenge then facing down 80 r9s3's vs another 80 r9s3's week after week. At that point in honestly seems the competition is who can get the drop on someone first and that just makes things boring.
I realize this thread is most likely gonna become a fight so I wont be responding anymore. This was just my opinion on how the game could be more interesting, and a suggestion. One that will most likely be ignored by the PWI staff anyway.0 -

And most of the playerbase.
Perhaps we were a little harsh, it was just a suggestion after all. The reason for that, in my case at least, is that TW is probably the most fun aspect of the game, and anything that changes it there will be massive 'QQ'. if player amount has to be reduced inside TW, imo should be to 60, not 40. 1st because 40 might have a hard time dealing with DDs + 4 OP cata barbs.
but if u reduce to 60, must allow a double attack.
problem with gank is small factions dont want to bother. even when 2 factions are close strength wise, often go for easy land instead of having a good fight.0 -

Yeah thats lame I'd rather have a hard evenly fought long TWs and lose every time than go for easy land. Wined TWs or rofl rolls are boring. More to TW than land grab and coin hoarding, and the gloryhunters that leave the faction after losing arent worth keeping or appeasing anyway.
