Endgame Budget Gear?

Alrighty so as a fairly low-leveled, inexperienced player, I have some questions in terms of gear and pets.
As I don't have a hope in hell of going R9 or buying the Nix and Herc straight from the cash shop, here come a slew questions.
1) What gear should I be aiming for at level 100+? G16, Nirvana or what?
2) How good does my gear have to be for stuff like NW and TW, and perhaps some odd PK?
3) How much do Herc and Nix cost in coin? How long will it take to farm?
4) How expensive is a venomancer to play? In terms of pot costs, pet food, repairs etc?
5) Any tips on how to save cash?
Well that's all, any other advice is greatly appreciated b:thanks

1) Nirvana G16 is the standard goal for those who dont want to afford R9.
2) Depends on what you want. Any gear will get you resonable rewards in NW since you dont have to win much for that. What is needed to have a good fight is subjective. If you want to be in the top 50% of players, G16 averagely refined will do. However as long as you are not part of the top 5%, you will keep getting killed in 1 or 2 shots by those top 5%.
3) iirc something around 100m, but thats very rough. If you become level 100, you can do daily BH and cube. You also have the option to do the cube twice. If you sell the rewards of this. You will make about 100m in one month. Other farming methods like doing FW and selling genie boxes + eoo + npc mold or doing delta or the lower levels of TT will probably make you 1m per hour or so.
4) every character can get as expensive to play as you want. Depends much more on you than on your class. Venos shouldnt be too expensive though, except the buying of those pets. Taking damage is expensive generally, you shouldnt be taking much damage.
5) Just think about everything you spend and keep remembering that you need to farm an hour per million. Dont buy **** you dont need. I dont like the advise to avoid teleporting since flights take so much time that you could have generally payed the teleport 10 times over if you had done something productive in that time. But you can avoid the most expensive shortest distances or fly when you want to go have a cigarete anyway.Everything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.0 -
No idea what your build is, but generally something like this would be a good thing to aim for at the start: http://www.pwcalc.com/f3e2acb6023a0e5b
Work on the g16 Nirvana pieces first and shard with exclusive shards from Morai. Until then, use stuff like Sky Demon's Pearl for neck, OHT culti belts for your belt, and whatever decent rings you can find or try crafting your own OHT ones with vit/hp/mag adds.0 -

1) What gear should I be aiming for at level 100+? G16, Nirvana or what?
The best gear available right now after R9 (3rd cast) is indeed G16 Nirvana or in other words Nirvana 3rd cast.
It's fairly easy to obtain. You can get cannies and raptures via NW. Once you have your G15 Nirvana you can join Warsong squads to farm for badges and the molds. You'll need Essence of Offence for the weapon and Essence of Defence for the gear but you can buy them from the Warsong/Lunar squads or from other people.
The only difficult part is getting your TT or Lunar base, depending on what you choose. TT is generally cheaper but bound and not resell-able. Lunar is a little more expensive but trade-able and resell-able. Choose whichever serves your better.
Try finding a faction that can help you with TT/Lunar runs or try to find some people who are also farming so you might be able to team up with them. Doing it all by yourself won't work unless you want to spend your time doing NW and selling the cannies/raptures for coin and then buy the materials. It's much faster and easier if you can find people to farm things with though.
You can NW even before lvl100. You may not get a lot of Supply Tokens but it can help you a little bit by selling them to other people so you can have some coin and slowly work towards you gear.
2) How good does my gear have to be for stuff like NW and TW, and perhaps some odd PK?
Honestly as a Venomancer, just by running around Purging people and debuffing (there are plenty of threads on the forums about this so I won't go into detail) you will contribute a lot. Venomancers are mainly a support class when it comes to PvP.
You will still be a 1shot at times but I think a full G16 +10 Nirvana set is fairly good if you're more serious about PvP. I used to run around in a G16 +7 Nirvana set and I did fairly well in NW. I died much more in TW though.
PK is highly affected by the server and the people who do PK so I can't quite answer that.
3) How much do Herc and Nix cost in coin? How long will it take to farm?
It depends on the server. At times they go as low as 50mil on my servers but during off sale times they'll go for up to 100mil. On sales they sometimes cost 60 gold.
I'll have to warn you though, there's not much of a use for a Hercules if you're planning to use it to solo instances for money. Those days are gone so you might want to just get a Phoenix for PvP or just invest all the coin in your gear first and think about legendary pets later.
Hercules is still a great pet to have but nowadays you won't find yourself using it as much unless you're a heavy soloer. Most people run things in squads and most endgame bosses can't be tanked by the Hercules. Things like TT are not as profitable etc.
I repeat, I'm not saying they are useless but I'm just warning you ahead that it will be better to invest in gear first before thinking of such pets. There are a handful of free pets that can be pretty good and won't require as much investment, until you can afford to.
4) How expensive is a venomancer to play? In terms of pot costs, pet food, repairs etc?
I think it depends on how you play the class and what you're planning to do. For example, if you want a well geared Venomancer to do serious PvP at endgame you'll still have to put as much money in it as any other class.
Generally though it doesn't cost a lot of pots until you get your lvl79 and Sage/Demon skills. Metabolic Boost, Nature's Grace and Soul Transfusion should allow you to keep up with your MP most of the time. Pet should be able to take most of the damage from monsters so you won't be hit if you're careful.
The higher level you get the higher costs you'll have but like I said I think it just depends on what you want out of your Venomancer.
5) Any tips on how to save cash?
Do NW whenever you can even prior lvl100. You can slowly start building some coin by selling the tokens or by making cannies/raptures to sell to others.
Grind DQ whenever you can, especially now that's 2x and get DQ points. You can use the points to get Do-Alls and sell them in Cube (set up a catshop) to people. Or you can try getting the Sage/Demon card with DQ points so you can use Tisha/Tienkang to refine your gear later.
Do your bounty quests from Jolly Ol' Jones at the starter areas, it's a pretty good source of income and it goes up to lvl80 as far as I know.
Various quests have been revamped/updated and I've heard they give a pretty good amount of coin so don't skip them.
Try not to spend money on things like luxurious fashion, flyers or mounts. You can get those later once you have decent gear ;3
At level100 BH will give you coin or things like Mirages which you can sell to others.
Hmm there could be more but it's late and I'm quite sleepy so maybe someone else adds more to it.

Sorry, I was a **** and didn't put my build. It's essentially full arcane. I intend to get hp/pdef from shards and gear and whatnot.b:cute"Love is like Heaven and the apocalypse rolled into one"b:cute0

1) Any gears you like basically,it depends your game play and what ask from your veno toon to do daily.I wear Morai 101 and i am OK with my dailies.
2)For any pvp act (TW,NW,rpk etc.),you need at least Nirvana gears and if can effort r9+ . But then, the 4 and 5 part of your question has no place in here.
3)Depend on server or the person that willing to sell the ticket.A lot opportunities or trades can be found if you are not hurry at that.Herc can tank almost everything if evolved and have good mood/stats and nix is a good dd pet with potentials to tank too.Farming them its up to you and how many profitable hours of gaming you have.
4) "Zero" repairs if not pvp and not "afraid" to use pets at any quest/instance you have.A lot if you start to play a "hero" and you boring to summon pets or not use them wisely for the purpose that game gave them to us.
5)Saving cash is a balance btw what you earn and what you spend daily.Try make a schedule of your week.(for example, make 2 days of grinding only or collecting herbs for sell as cat shop.).You will always have followers.Try have opponents...f:shy0 -
Like many wise toons before me have said: "there is no end game"Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.0

If you plan on being mostly pve, the 95 and 101 Morai gear sets are fairly viable for pve, if you're on a budget. There's still better out there, but for budget players, morai stuff is great. The 95 gear is free quest rewards, then the 101 stuff, iirc, costs about 5-7 million a piece.
Some tips to save on money are 1, get a tome asap, even the simple Christmas Tome (1% crit rate) will do, and will make it so you never have to feed your pets, except to boost their loyalty, and getting to max loyalty is 7400 coins total for most pet (peanut oils from npcs). Also, you don't need to use a lot of pots after level 36, with your self heals, soul transfusion and genie heal.0
