I could really use some techie advice from more hardcore gamers. Due to medical issues I've basically lost the use of my left hand. I've tried using goggle to find some gaming pads for right handed use, but am not getting much. One of the items I've found is this though it is advertised for FPS, do you think it would work for PWI or other MMORPGs. I've put a lot of time (and money) into this game and I really like playing, I don't want to just quit because of this. Or does anyone know any other items that are made totally for right hand. I'd really appreciate any options you can give.

I have no experience with this kind of stuff, but from the looks of it I would say it should work. Don't take my word on it though.

Game is still playable with just the right hand though, but I admit walking with the mouse in an instance is pretty hard due to all the mobs. Could maybe use the keyboard with only the right hand, given some practice you should be able to play normally like that.

They actually do make Mice with hotkeys, I'm sure with some rearranging you can set those keys up as asdf+tab, get an auto recovery stone, and primarily point and click skills.

There are some really nice hot key mice? mouses? that you can get, they have up to 10 programmable buttons that you use with your right hand. While 10 keys isn't that many it's enough to cover essential skills.
I used one of these mice? mouses?
I used a mouse (yay there we go) like this when I dislocated/broke all my fingers and it went ok once i got use to it.
Just have a look in your local gaming store :3

I'm guessing you two mean something like this mouse . After looking at it I'm thinking I could program the two top buttons for W/S and then just use right click to turn. Then with the shift feature I'd actually have 24 buttons I could use. I'm thinking that would be more than enough for PWI.

This might be my best option unless someone knows anything better.

I was already doing complicated. Currently I'm using a logitech gaming controller to play (or was until my nerves decided to totally **** out on me), my computer recognizes it as an x-box controller and it came with a profiler so you could assign button to corresponding keys. Unfortunately PWI does not like the controller so I have to reset the axis controls when I relog. Plus every time I enter or exit an instance I have to close the PWI window, click on the profiler window then bring PWI back up for the controller to work. This includes NW battles. f:laugh It was a pain, but at the time the best option for me.

Between work and home I am on a PC most of the time doing something. My left arm started to feel very weak, which I attributed to only using my right hand. I simply took my mouse pad and moved over to the left side, learning (actually its just a matter of remembering) to click it in reverse.

Cant be anymore difficult to simply switch it up, than it is to learn how to use gadgets to accomplish the same thing. I think there is even a way to reverse the click function in the mouse itself, but Im not that PC savvy. GL no matter what you end up doing. Hope you can keep playing. b:victory
