@synchroze/CM/GM - IMPORTANT ANNIVERSARY ISSUE

Since synchroze seems to be our inter-CM, I adress it direclty to him, it's important:
For the anniversary gift we have to update our email (if the old one is outdated).
In theory we could update it by our own. Unfortunaltey this option is bugged (I'm even not surprised, sorry to say that...). I get this failure message on both accounts: "Unfortunately, we were unable to complete your request. In order to perform an email change, you will need to submit a ticket to our Customer Support department."
My tickets/requests (1 per account) have still "waiting" status.
I hope it is your absolute priority at the moment to update our addresses!
BEFORE you sent the emails for the anniversary gifts!
Otherwise you will get even more ticket spams if many people will miss the gifts.

Read the ticket. "Waiting" means they've responded and are waiting for you to respond to their request for more information.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

why they cant do it like they always did..with code and claim
beside probably most ppl wont even bother getting same fash, same mounts f:meh0 -

I can understand using these emails for accounts on websites that you don't care about. If you have 100+ characters and you have a fake/invalid email, it would be inevitable that something like this would happen.
At the very least, you're not able to change your password.
I think pwe has given out a few goodies by email that weren't zen promotions, but that was years ago.
I know PWE did anni gifts differently in the past, however, it was a mess with so many people trying to access the same page.
Not that the email method will make things any faster, given how PWE does things.
I would've thought this would flop by people never getting the emails or the emails ending up in spam, not by having an invalid email.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

I don't understand what you mean by a cheap gift. Did you think they would give you full R9? Did you think they would give you an item that you can npc for 100m? Get it together, they are virtual/pixel items. Be happy they are giving you something. Mounts are not cheap, and your getting multiple FREE mounts to spread throughout your toons.R9s3 Beast w/Demon Facepalm0 -

Hopefully it goes like this now: Sending gifts to our emails and each gift has its own code, so we can choose to who we for example send 1st year mount, and to who we send the unicorn etc. Would be awesome.0

Blame the players. Everytime PWI make a reward to get by codes on their site someone find a way to glitch it, like the MoG, blessing, Dreamchaser packs etc...
Don't blame PWI for trying a new method cause the other methods always get abused by the greedy players that always want moarrrrr.
Plus a LOTTTTTTTT of people play other people accounts so that just mean that if it's not your account you won't get the gift unless somehow you have access to the person email, if it's your account than send a ticket to change email that's all.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I bet a mod closes this before CM even looks at it. I even sent the new CM a message too over a month ago im just assume he's busy...

Something like that is happening with me too. I try to change my email, but it keeps saying my password is incorrect (at password confirmation), even though I'm logged in to make sure my email is correct. So, I try my other password (I only use two different passwords for all things gaming) and still no go.
Then, when I request a password/username email, it tells me that the email I used doesn't match the one in the database, even though I clearly see, in that email inbox, emails from pw staff.b:beatup I have never sent an email/ticket to pw staff unless they contact me first.
I really want to change it because my old email is stupid. However, at this point, I'm just hoping that the email address is correct for the anni0 -
The only thing you can do at the moment is wait for the CS representative to complete your ticket. There's a lot of people experiencing the same issue you are which has increased the ticket queue. If you miss the email you can still get your code by submitting a ticket to the CS team and we will verify and give you your code. I know its a difficult process but we appreciate your patience while we work through this.0

Syncroze, wouldn't a easier option for everyone would be to get the rewards through the website, not through emails. I cannot use my hotmail account anymore (because lolmade when i was 12), and my proper email was used for my fiance's account. I dont want to make a new email just to get my reward[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]<3 by Silvy

Just make a gmail account or something. Or make your fiance get a gmail account and switch the e-mails.0 -

Umm...so I submitted a ticket and gave them the information they asked for to verify it is my account to try to change my email. And now I can't log onto 1 of the 3 accounts I submitted tickets to change my emails...so I've either been **** of frozen out of my account. Also, I can't be informed because um DUR I CAN'T READ THE E-MAILS LINKED TO THE ACCOUNT BECAUSE THAT'S WHY I SUBMITTED A TICKET IN THE FIRST PLACE..so this is just really cruel waiting to find out if I got **** or if I ever get sign on this account again. 5 years wasted on that account...really heartbreaking. But yeah...when I try to log in on here or on the game it says I have entered a wrong username or password...when I know I haven't.0 -
I'm not one to shoot something before it works, but I have been seeing on my servers, personally, a massive amount of confusion and stress over this email method. And, as well, people attempting to change their emails before the weekend while receiving similar messages such as the OP. People would say its their fault for using fake email, yada yada, but this change in the Anniversary method is leaving a lot of people confused.
Maybe there could be an option for both the website page for those who don't use their emails? And the people with active emails can avoid that traffic rush and use their specific code or however PWI will do it this weekend.

My ticket says "waiting" too so, they asking me for more info, where? In the email I want to use there's is nothing new, and if they send it to the old email, it doesn't exist (damn auto set stuff for country b:angry), so I'm not going to get anything there.

I actually wanted to change my email over a month or two ago. i sent in a ticket,waited a week and no answer. i still have yet to get a answer about changing my email. However i got back into my email that was hooked to this account like a week ago. i had to use my sister's cell to get it unlocked though. >.> such a hassle. b:chuckle0

I sent a ticket requesting email change a week ago, I got a response on the same day, but till today I believed "waiting" status meant waiting for them to reply, not waiting for me b:chuckle Now I have to wait for their response regarding my answers to the questions, I hope I'll have my mail changed quickly f:cute0

For those who got an email with waiting in it. You can try this, no guarantees though lol
When logged into this site in the account you are trying to change, go to the support tab at the top of the page, when the page loads select ticket history tab, Quite often they are waiting for more information from you and it will be listed in your latest ticket when you open for a look.
I tried twice before I went there looked, then sent as much of the information I could remember.
If I remember correctly I could not remember all the answers but I answered as much as I could and they changed it for me.There are old Warriors, and bold Warriors,
but there are very few old bold Warriors. b:chuckle0 -

No. Re-read the ticket. I know it looks like a wall of text but if you have a "waiting" status, you will find that they have responded to you and have asked you for more information. If you add something, it goes into an "updated" state, not a "waiting" state.

I got my barbs acct Email changed. took a while. But they got to it and i finally have it back. So just keep waiting and making sure you respond to what they ask. i couldnt log on for a few days. Now i can with new pw and all that.untamed_pain demon veno 103-100-101
