My Clerics Gear Progression.

I'm looking for some tips on what i can improve with some of these build. This is what i plan for my clerics gear progression from TT70-G15. I'm looking for anything i can change that would make it better, but still stay within a small budget.

As with the tt70, tt80 is kinda a waste and out-classed by mold equips. I wouldn't bother with the tt80 neck+belt either unless you're gonna use them later for a sin. Just get a Sky Demon's Pearl at 87 and use w/e pdef belt. 1st OHT belt is easy enough to get.

If you're gonna get a Cube neck/Warsong belt anyway, why not start using them at level 80?

I already have the tt70/captain anyway. If I have to get the other tt's anyway I might as well just use them instead of having to find other armors. I will be farming/saving up for the cube and ws belt, so i will not have it right away at level 80. Thanks for the ornies advice.

r8 wep is kind of a mini goal for me. I eventually want to recast it with a purify proc.

Puri on r8r wep is half the proc rate it is on r9rr and with that sort of gear, puri isn't gonna save you at all. You're better off getting def levels on it.

Agreeing with Eoria's notes here.
R8r is definitely for the defence levels if you go that route. Purify proc is awesome but only when your gear is pretty good and only when it can proc reasonably often (same name yet different proc rates on R8r and R999).

Also, yeah, if you're getting G15 Nirvana there's no reason to stop there. All you need is the molds, badges and some EoDs for the next grade. It's really easy to get it and as a Cleric you can find Warsong squads. Even if you can't defend Fire alone, there's plenty of squads that will let the Cleric duo or help someone else in a Pavilion.
The stats and set bonuses of G16 Nirvana are pretty good considering how cheap and easy it is to obtain it now.

For the weapon, I'd also say to get a G16 one with Vit/HP adds if you want. Even if you get R8r in the future you can use the Nirvana weapon as a PvE weapon for the attack levels.

At the very end, event gold from DQ for Tisha/Tiekang can help you get some +7s cheaply. You'll need a good amount of mirages though.

mmm I see you added a g16 build but you haven't finished the set due to using a sapphire hat.

I assume that you have the hat from your wizard and perhaps you cant really sell it so its cost is practically 0 while a g16 hat is around 50m give or take. stat-wise they are pretty similar (assuming an average roll of 2%pdmg reduction, 10mag, 10mag, 100hp (the mag can be placed in vit to get around 300hp which is a bit better than 300pdef and 2%pdmg reduction and 60 more hp at +5 is kinda equivalent to the 2 def lvls)) but you get 20 attack levels which will be really nice if you plan to attack stuff in pvp.

you may or may not want that. however, if you are going to break the set you should do it with the cape and not the hat. wings of the cloudcharger have 500pdef and a ton of other stats that pwn the g16 cape and you almost cover its cost by not getting the chaos ring (if you insist on the chan you should be able to find a -6% chan ring and you obviously don't care about crit on a healing slave). the other options are tm79 and cape of elite leather which will give you a nice chunk of defences and be quite cheap too.

getting r8 jsut for the ring is not worth it; you can score another lunar or even a skycover for that amount of money (i think it's around 35g no?).

Regarding the weapon, I think that the max chan you can get is 3%. now, if you plan to just heal, the attack levels are kinda moot (you miight need them to solo a pav; havent ever tried on cleric). but if you get g15 it's pretty easy to hop on g16. personally I got a lunar sword+10 for 40m but I have no idea why the seller agreed to sell for that; must have gotten 0 pms for days XD Also, the +350 hp adds are slightly better than vit.

last, note that pwi calc has kinda messed up stats (looks like they put max attack stats and min defense stats dunno why. you might want to put some average stats when judging the build).
