Evolved Cactus...

Ok, so i evolved the cactus for the hell of it. It's huge btw two times the size of my veno. Anyways i go into lunar and we kill the first tomb and boss pops up we go towards the other side to get the other tomb. i pull out the cactus and it runs for the boss and i get blamed for it yet none of my other pets run for the boss. I pulled the cactus to pet pull for the tomb.

So, is that a glitch or did someone get near the boss and my pet got blamed for it. and normally i pull with the kowlin just wanted to try for something different.

I've been going to the other end to pull the second tombstone from the bridge side; it can be gotten without aggroing any of the other mobs on that path.

What mode was your pet on? I usually have pet on manual for squad instances, and pets won't do that on manual.

I'd say it was either a mis-click/key, or you left your pet on defensive and someone else pissed off the boss. As Mayfly said, manual is your friend. I've never had that issue with any pet, including my evolved cactus.

Untamed_pain,i think its a glitch when have on defense the pet.I was in map 3 a lot times for lv up my herc and i was pulling with pet.But a few times i noticed that when the group died,my herc was run on the nearby mobs w/o i send it or w/o the mobs hit herc and reset away back.This is a glitch i think....(grabbing chance,w/o overtake your threat ofc, to mention a sage summer sprint glitch too,the duration of 10 min.Progressively after the 8th min, i feel my speed dropping and getting back to default ....)

Hmm not sure. It might be what Jasms says but it might also be that it was an accident o.o should try it again and see.

It was on defense i think i didn't have a chance to do anything besides pull the pet out lol. It took off towards the boss and they blamed me and i said sorry but it didn't seem right my pet aggroing that far away. none of my other pets did it before. Usually when i put the pet out i put it on Manuel.

I can try later i'm sure guildies need more lunars i can help with.

There are places that pets can't stand. They will walk around and try to find you.

That's a bit different. The respawn rates in OHT3 are so fast that if a mob aggros your pet on defensive, dies, and respawns before your pet has reset to a neutral state, the aggro from the already-killed mob will be carried over to the fresh spawn. It can happen anywhere mobs respawn, but it's pretty uncommon to notice anywhere else.

I've pulled pets out where i was standing before so makes no sense there. and i checked my Cactus and it's on Manuel so no idea why it aggroed like it did.

Yeah you should of seen that response from guildies and non guildies when i pulled the cactus out. I just thought it would be a fun pet lol.

Now i was thinking of doing the kowlin but i only use it for pulls. So think i should evolve it?

To honest, there's not much use for it to me but 140 stars don't take that long to gather so you might as well. Its exclusive skill is quite fancy with pulling.

I'll be evolving my Windwalking Piggy soon and I might use it in PvP now and then for fun xD

very true. But i still want the Monkey one day...maybe ill wait and just fix the skills on my pets. Well herc/Nix.

If space is an issue then yeah don't evolve. Right now I still have 4 free slots, one for the Piggy (maybe), Monkey (some day) and still 2 free slots occupied by all-class pets atm.
One of the all-class pets will never go though so that leaves one free slot at the end.

Yeah i wont evolve neither of the bears or Kowlin and 2 slots is for my mounts. Bears can be put in bank if needed.

Evolved is herc, nix, dino, cactus, puppy...evolved puppy cuz it's so cute. b:chuckle

I wish they would get us a pet bag extender id buy lots lol
