elementclient.exe has stopped working....

So my friend's laptop gets this every time she starts PWI and I can't get it to work. I've tried everything i can think of:

- Verifying 10 times before launching
- Deleting and reinstalling PWI
- Copying a working installation of PWI from another computer
- Formatting the hard drive, reinstalling windows, then reinstalling PWI
- Turning off all of the graphical features with the patcher before launching

It worked just fine up until 2 updates ago. She ran the update (I think the version number was like 739 or something like that) and it no longer works. The current version (742) has the same issue. I downloaded an older version of the client (from ... one of those ... other ... places) and that version worked.

I can't think of anything else to try to make it work.

    Figured it out. In this case it is a compatibility issue with nVidia Optimus (switchable graphics).

    PWI is trying to initialize using the Intel graphics driver. I uninstalled the Intel drivers then reinstalled the nVidia drivers and now PWI is working since it can't see the Intel adapter anymore.
