1. The Chip Opener 9100: opens all the chip packs in your inventory and converts them to GST

2. Really cheap r9. like 200g full set

in other words, would you be more annoyed for having paid more or for wasting your time in mind-numbing pack opening b:chuckle

    I'd be a bit more excited to play since I am merching for a new R9 anyway.

    Well, if I was rank already I'd say I'd be annoyed by super-cheap rank, so I'll vote for that one. But that's the way of all things, over time, it should get less expensive... especially as new gear comes out.

    I remember getting the NW update released just a week before I finished my Nirvana 3rd cast weapon. If I had waited a week, I could have made 250 raptures for almost free (I was lucky to be able to participate that very weekend) and I could have saved 200mil or whatever I spent on the raptures..but somehow I didn't feel upset.

    I guess I'd just be like meh and move on.

    not like 90% of ppl didnt either autoclick AFK to open or have people help them anyways....

    I don't know how much gold it costs to go from zero rep to rank 9 right now. But the 200 gold option sounds reasonable and fun :D

    200 gold is about what I paid for my herc pet way back when, so its good for R9 too XD.


    I wouldn't mind if they made R9 really cheap to get. Feels like everyone has it when I do NW anyways. The expensive part is still +10ing everything and getting the perfect shards you want for it f:cry

    I won't be annoyed, but I'd be sooooo thankful if they had a better chip pack opener. I mean opening 100 at one go isn't much, considering how you need to open 1000 for 1 GST. Let's face it, that's a **** ton of clicking, and we need 85 GSTs for the weapon alone....

    I really don't care about r9 since I don't PK or NW, but knowing my past of MMOs, even the best becomes cheap as a sand dealer in the desert. Then again, this is PWE.

    Only need 205 General summers tokens, I mean you get a quest that opens 1000 Mysterious chips.

    So its just a case of doing the same quest 2050 times:

    -1 click for NPC
    -1 click for pack open
    -1 click for amount amount quest
    -1 click to reopen NPC
    -1 click to accept quest

    so 10250 clicks later - providing you dont make any mistakes like my maths.
    You got all you need

    add a few clicks for buying the amount of Mysterious chips you need.
    and you get the True hidden cost of Rank 9.

    I would have save 500m on my g15 weapon that way b:chuckle. When G16 came out, i knew i had to get it, i got it within 3~4 weeks, the mold did not want to drop. Refined the weapon to +10, and my friend loved the damage so much, i made her one as well. Sure we already spent a pretty sum on other weapons.

    But by progressing to better gear, the reliance on others started decreasing. It is at a point where we only need a cleric friend to help do the really hard instances, otherwise we can solo things. You know like bh 29 b:surrender.

    Seems like most people would appreciate such changes, but I don't think they will ever happen. I myself have no preference since none of my chars are over lvl 100 and once they get there I'll probably stop playing them actively.

    I dont understand why the hell doesnt staff add option to open say 10k chip packs at once, people would be so much happier with simple improvement of interface, which would likely make ppl more willing to spend the money and get R9. I dont want to know how long we spent opening packs for friends R9, she only had ring & chest, we got rest of it on one sale, I am still disgusted bout how much time we spent just on the damn wep.
