I did some digging into the meridian system to figure out how hard the later meridians are.

There are 80 meridians total (4 circles).

I put the number of living gates as well as how many consecutive life gates you need on the wiki here:

It also shows what HP you get at each meridian, what the max stats are, and a calculated average number of attempts you need at each meridian.

I got the data from a simulation I ran on my test server: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_rI39Wzz6o

On average you need 2,453 pills to finish so at 7 pills a day you can finish in under a year without touching the boutique.

    Nice info, i`m almost halfway done in 3rd circle, it`s insanely hard now, I imagine when you are halfway, the hp will be doubled again or at least it should be, otherwise only 368 hp is rather low considering I managed to get somewhat far. Edit: it`s not *sad panda face*

    Neat, was wondering how everything worked out. Man.. if you only use the 7 free tries a day, it'd take you a year on average to get to the end lol. *sigh*

    If I do my bh69/79 once per 7 or even more days then I can(?) finish meridian circles in more than 7 years (less than 7 pills once per week).

    5th life gate already passed, total used (in average) 17 pills.

    As far as I know of, there are level restrictions on opening gates as well. If you are at a certain level, you are not allowed to open past that number of gates. I am not sure if at lvl 100 you are allowed to open all gates or you need level 101 to do so.

    Here is example (each new life gate has +2 level restriction).

    There are level limits on some of the spheres. It seems almost certain that spheres after the second in the Conception and Governing Vessels each require two successive levels higher; eg Lv 44 for the third, and 46 for the fourth.

    Schoolteacher daily: 3 mystical pills/day
    Yee Yoon daily: 2 holy and 2 mystical pills/day

    Yee Yoon takes maybe 5 minutes to finish; Schoolteacher can run while you're doing BH or grinding or whatever.

    I haven't purchased any meridian **** yet and I'm almost finished with Dark. I'll just keep doing my daily school teacher. And every day, I do my world quest, which 2 npc's no matter which world quest path you get, are right behind the daily meridian npc. I run that quick 2 minute quest every time. Might as well since I'm already there. I'll take my time. it's not a significant upgrade to my stats that I need to rush.

    I also get mystical pill/pills (tired so not sure about how many) from doing one daily in moria as well.

    Currently on Dark circle GV20 by just doing dailies to get pills.
    There are old Warriors, and bold Warriors,
    but there are very few old bold Warriors. b:chuckle

    Where does everyone get "flame" "dark" from? Mine said vitality refinement and divinity refinement... nothing about flame.

    It's one mystical pill from Morai timed daily, and 1 each for BH1 and 2 (for 100+ BHs the pills are tradeable, all other quest reward pills are untradeable.) But Toliman can't get in Morai yet, and seems to know of the BH pills, so I didn't mention those.

    Really? From timed dailies? I do mine every single day, and have never gotten anything from the dailies. Which npc gives it to you? Crazy stones, Emissary, or the other one? I've completed all 3 places in morai and maxed them to 5000. I only do it for the exp, and to get my exp things from the npc.

    The advanced supply NPC gives the timed daily and the mystical pill.

    At least, the one in Luminance does; I finished the other two before Meridian started, so can't vouch for the Shroud and Corona NPCs.

    confirmed on Corona: timed daily gives pill, the other dont.

    Pills = Teacher, BH I and II (BH pills are tradable so are those from weekly Seat,Abba if you choose as quest rewards from emblems), Morai timed quest and the daily @ The Village of the Dreaming Cloud, tis all in case smb still doesn`t know.

    Have you finished the first CV's with the pills? Once part 1 is completed, your next part is to click the middle, it will say flame and such and you start working on that part. Once thats complete you start on the next CV session, when thats done you click the middle again, it will say Frost and on and on till it's complete.

    That's what I'm saying, my center circle didn't say Flame, it said Vitality Refinement. And "Dark" said Divinity Refinement. I'm just wondering where everyone is seeing the word Flame because I didn't see it anywhere.
