Demonic Eruption Vs Spark Eruption

My bestfriend has a Demon Cleric and she's looking though her skills. She came across this Spark Eruption skill. Is this the same as her Demon Spark or is it different than her Demon Spark? Is Demon Spark more powerful than said Spark Eruption? b:question

Spark eruption is for a single spark (a 29 skill), sage/demon eruption is for 3 sparks and much more powerful.

Your best friend is obviously power leveled if she doesn't know this already.

She didn't power lvl. When she was looking through her demon skills vs sage skills she saw one was called "spark eruption" and it said it was on the demon side of the demon/sage guide. Therefore she didn't know if it mean her demon spark or not because it said almost the same thing as her demon spark but not quite.

The percent values were the same. She didn't know if there was a difference.

The Guide she has she downloaded. I'm not sure where she got it from there's a lot of different guide out there the one i came across though that said the exact same thing "Spark Eruption" and not "Demon Spark" is here link.

Well, it looks like she confused things; Spark Eruption in that instance was indicating the triple Spark that each Cultivation gets in which case is Demonic or Celestial but Spark Eruption itself is the actual lvl29 skill (localized as Spark Burst on Clerics for some odd reason).

I would suggest checking ecatomb.net (under the skill tab) next time because it's more up-to-date and accurate.

I never said she didn't know what spark eruption was. Its classified as Spark Burst or Spark Burst+ not SPARK ERUPTION. Stop starting **** on the forums.

I think his point was that usually a person learns throughout the game or through reading guides/forums that Spark Eruption is the name of the lvl29 skill despite it being localized as Spark Burst for Clerics.
I'm not sure if other classes have this issue too but I think most classes have it localized as regular Spark Eruption. I'm not logged in-game to check on my Psychic but I know Venomancers have the correct localized name.

Hmm..wonder if I should go report this in the Quality Corner.

And most people just call it single spark, spark + or double spark, or triple spark. Using the actual names is like calling bb 'Regeneration Aura' and even half the experienced players will say "Regen what?" All this trouble over names, lol.

The skill description is right there in the guide, sage triple spark gives you 700% weapon damage, 25% mana recovered, and will reduce damage by 25% for the next 15 seconds. Demon is the same thing except instead of 25% damage reduction you get -25% channeling speed, 700% weapon damage, and 25% mana recovered. Demon spark is more offense based, sage is more defense based.

But to clarify something.... Spark burst is the skill that you get at level 29 when you get your first spark, and your first spark consuming skills...in the case of a cleric, that skill is Siren's Kiss.

Spark Burst + is when you get your level 59 skills, which in most cases are your ulti's and your 2 spark consuming skills. With clerics, this means Tempest, and BB for 2 spark skills.

Celestial Eruption (Sage Spark), and Demonic Eruption (Red Demon Spark) is your level 89 spark that you obtain as you choose your sage/demon path respectively. Saku has already described the difference in the two.

So to sum up....

Spark Burst = Uses 1 spark.
Spark Burst + = Uses 2 sparks.
Celestial Eruption = Uses 3 sparks. (Only available along sage path.)
Demonic Eruption = Uses 3 sparks. (Only available along the demon path.)
(Sage Spark and Demonic Spark are equals. The only difference is the appearance and the path that you are on.)
