Reasons people get called Fail.

I've noticed a trend, while ghosting the Harshland forums in my boredom, and there seems a trend.
People get called fail for these reasons:
1) They power leveled their character to 101, which instantly means they don't know how to play their char.
2) They're a sin, that instantly means their fail, I've even read that DPH sins are fail because they go for the one hit.
3) It's simply a flame war based on one of the "Who's the best for what class Threads."
4) They pk someone in a group.
5) They're r9.
In my opinion as to break down each of these.
1) Has a weak backing to this, if someone power levels their character, it only takes a few weeks to gain a simple grasp on their character, and this one interties usually with number 5, in being they do it to go r9, which means they can't play cause everythings one hit, in the said flame post, but this doesn't support the idea that they can learn their character if they put even a minute thought to the idea of their skills, and watching other players.
2) Sins are tricky, if you're not aps, you can't kill barbs too easy without burning up their charm and most other classes are pretty fun to fight. APS sins usually are hated for their invis stun aps someone to death, which is pretty easy to deflect if you have AD at the ready if they do stun you / or have the PV pot to reduce damage on. In my opinion APS sins are best utilized in tw for the obvious cleric, but they're pretty dead after that first kill, and are best utilized in PVE. Which people underrate. And honestly, till you've played one to full aps, you shouldn't rate them.
3) Flame wars are overrated, and are only good for an 'lol' in world chat, when it occurs. 'Nough said.
4) If you get pk'd against a group, then oh well. Call some friends and have a good fight, if you decide to keep fighting against a group as a single entity, then don't complain when you get ganked, it's the nature of the beast, and can be quiet fun if you can survive enough to kill a few of them. People blow this out of proportion alot to call people fail. In which case we'll referance back to number 3.
and finally
5) R9 has truely ruined pvp for those that arn't r9, but that's to each persons opinion, please don't take this Thread and turn it into an "R9 suck, or C$ blah blah blah." Remember the idea of the thread, reasons a person would be called fail at their class, and what defines that, not who is fail.
I'm just wondering what you would, without starting a flame war, consider someone to be a failure in their class. Please give detail to the theory, within reason, with supporting cause.

Cleric - doesn't want to heal / buff. Pisses me off. If you want to DD roll a wiz / psy
Barb - in old days failed barb was one that didn't know what agro is. These days I don't know how exactly you can be a fail barb since PvE wise you don't have much things to do that can go wrong. I guess if you don't utilize your 79 skills properly such as anti stun, or use them in wrong time (you go pull metal pavilion and use anti stun skill first) things like that. Hardly means you are fail tho, just means you don't know everything about every instance
Psy - doesn't uses his buffs / debuffs. Great advantage of this class and if you don't know how to use it than you better roll something else
BM - "Those are my DG's leave me alone I dg for myself" This is fail. Really
Veno - Never played so can't comment much
Mystic - Doesn't wanna be support class in TW. Pisses me off too.
Archer - umm. Can archer really be a fail? You just hit phys attack, most things go down in heart beat
Wizard - uh oh i better skip this one
Assassin - Can't use buffs / debuffs, in pvp doesn't know when to force stealth etc. In PvE they can be annoying taking constantly agro and not being able to take a punch
I guess IMO you are mostly fail if you are not willing to "fit" in squad. That means to play your roll as part of collective and using your skills to benefit squad as a whole and not only yourself.
You can't be called fail if you cash shop, (or farmed) r9rr and kill bunch of nirvana people. That doesn't make you fail, just means you're few steps ahead of them in game.
Trends are always trends tho, this one is here to stay. So you know, just call someone fail few times and you will get a hang of it lol0 -

When I call someone fail it's not cause the person did power lvl or is R9, it's cause the person suck at playing his class.
1) Some people play their class since 4 years and still suck at it, some people did power lvl and are good, it depend if the person is good or bad, some people learn fast, some will never learn.
2) Some sins are good, some are bad, but sin is a one-trick pony class, you change a little thing and they are lost, just check when NW was introduce, how many sins was saying stuff like ''SOOOO unfair bramble work here!!! Hackkk remove that s***!!!'', they don't know how to react in different circumstances where they can't just APS to death.
3) Like any other insults.
4) Well it's not the fact that 10 people kill 1 person that make them fail, it's that generally the attitude that go with it, some people will jump on you at 10 people and be proud of killing you, 10 vs 1 GG... but these day you can be 5 people chilling at West and 1 random come out sz and get one shot by one person and they already scream ''GANK!!!'' just cause 5 people was there even if only one did shot him.
It's like people blood red name at West or SP that cry when you pk them and they pm you ''Why?''... you are a red name out side SZ in a PVP zone what the f*** do you expect seriously.... go back in SZ if you don't want to be pk...
5) R9 have nothing to do with being fail or not, it's just funny when you see someone R9rr that have no idea how to play his class. That people did farm or C$ed their R9 have nothing to do with being fail or not.
But on some class it's just funny to see that the second people get R9 they suddenly forgot how to play, just check all the R9 clerics on HL, there's max 5 of them that really know how to play a cleric.
Some people will just turn stupid and say stuff like ''I'm on the ranking and you're not you suck''... dude you are cleric, being on the ranking as cleric prove absolutely nothing, a cleric is not suppose to kill people, but is suppose to support his squad and keep them alive.
The best example is really clerics, ask people to make a top 5 of the best clerics on HL atm, you will end with 3-4 names of the worse clerics on the top 5.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I get called fail at least once a day for purging.
Which makes me go:
Purge All The Players!
It's not my fault people come out with every buff under the sun for a fight. b:surrenderSometimes snarky, but will always bake you cupcakes.0 -
I have been called fail numerous times. Below are some of the reasons.
1.I pked someone.
2. I passed someone in arch.
3. I dug a crystal in NW that someone ran by and they wanted to dig it. Then was told I would die numerous times against him/her/it in TW the following day. (didnt happen)
4. I was 1 shot by full r9rr +12 with all NW upgrades.
5. Because of the faction I am in or 1 I was in.
6. I couldnt keep a barb healed in a BH when he was doing a full pull. (I'm a psy if people dont know)
7. Killing sins that pop out of stealth and get stunned by my buff, then die by some random skill I decide to use.
Neither of it bothers me, it is just a game after all. But sometimes I do try and get them even more mad at me by making smart *** comments. Usually works.

Please. The reason why people are fail is obvious. Knowing how to play makes you fail automatically. Having decent gears makes you a C$ing fail. Getting ganked by r9s while 1 v 1ing means you fail if you die, or if you gtfo, or even if you kill all of them. If you are in an rpk faction, you fail. If you are rednamed, this means you kill lvl 30s and therefore you fail. If your faction loses a tw, it's full of fail, and if it wins a tw, it fails even harder. Winning a fight where the odds are against you is the mark of a fail player. You are fail if you die to someone you usually beat; in this case, previous defeats will be forgotten by the person, who will tell you they never lose to you. You are fail if your way of operating does not agree with others' ideal reality. You are fail if you pk someone when they didn't want to be PK'd, even if they are blood red and outside sz. You are especially fail if you don't know the person playing a character is not the owner of the character, even if that's a blatant violation of the ToS.
For example, i fail because i kill better geared players in spite of being a 1shot to them. I also fail because i soloed Bankai's Offense.
"Lul i 1shot u" can be used as an argument to "prove" someone fails, regardless of wether they can, in fact, 1shot them or die to them in spite of their ability to 1shot said player. It is important to note that the possibility of getting 1shot by the player automatically makes you worse than this player, regardless of wether this person can only 1shot you with a genie spark undine tangling mire DG sage amp purge towerdebuff sageSTA glacialspike frenzy triple spark BT zerkcrit. (yes, BT zerkcrit.)
In PvE you are fail if you: are the last person to accuse others of failing after a squad wipe. If you are the only person not in the same faction as the others after a squad wipe, or if you had nothing at all to do with the squad wiping.
In any situation, you may be called fail for; disagreeing with the currently popular gear choice for any reason (def lvl weapons on barbs, bms, mystics, venos, and clerics are good examples). Disagreeing with others when they are metagaming. Disagreeing with SyntherosX if anyone from BankaiGOD can see it. Commenting in WC if your name is Sint. Disagreeing with people on world chat. Being rich. Merching. Refusing to sell random **** for 1/10 of its actual price...
