Head moderator.

I will start by saying that it's not a thread to complain about how mods do their job. I think mods do a great job and this is not a thread to discuss how the forum is moderate. So if someone have something negative to say about the mods please keep it to yourself or use pm, thank you.

Since the past few weeks I did realize that maybe mods could do some other tasks that could help the CM/GM to put more time in more important issues than the forum. (I'm not saying the forum is not important, but that there's issues that are more important than some little forum's issues like a avatar not showing)

I'm not speaking about big tasks, but tasks like forum's titles, issues with avatars not showing, etc... the kind of little things that are not huge issues, but that can bother the players if it's not done or fix.

So my suggestion is to name a head moderator (from the existing mods interested to do it), that could have just a bit more powers to be able to change titles, fix avatars issues, etc... the kind of little things that would save time to CM/GM for more important things.

The head moderator would still have the same powers than a normal moderator (deleted threads, edit posts... etc.) and will moderate the forum like the other mods, but will be able to deal with the forum minor issues and to keep the title request's thread updated.

In the future the head mod could also have as job to form the new mods, but for now I'm thinking about little things to save CM/GM's time for other things, while keeping players happy.

If someone have any comments on my suggestion it will be appreciated, but as I said this is not a place to judge or rage at the mods or complain about their way of moderate. This is a suggestion of having a head mod to help CM/GM while keeping players happy with things like titles and avatar's issues.

You probably knew before become a mod that it wasn't paid so you can't complain about that not been paid for the work you do. =P

Giving titles is not that much more work for a mod to do (if a mod have the tool to do it), I'm sure there's people that would be glad to help with stuff like that, maybe not you, but others .

There's maybe people that would like to help on the forum without necessary moderate the threads, but more help with thing like fixing avatars, giving titles.. etc.

Not a Bad idea.

Since the lacking in CM at the moment i dont think this would be a bad idea.... Would be a good idea to do the Titles and Fix some easy things...

i got a better idea. Make the MODs actually be able to have a say in how things are done. MODs go thru each and every post looking at them so they know wat the player base actually wants. Instead of a CM thats not gunna do anything but ask a useless question every maintenance, have the mods give those reports. and PAY them. i feel bad for venus OP and krisnda every time i see them posting in the archo forums and realize theyre putting up with our BS and not getting paid for it.
