CUTEandSOFT - Lost City

Hey guys,

I'm familiar with all the quests in PWI so I have a habit of not reading dialogue from NPCs and just clicking "okay". This time, the quest line interested me and I wanted to take my time reading the quests, but because of this habit of of mine, I missed some key parts of the storyline b:surrender.

So at some point in the storyline, I know Khatru Pup did a ritual to become human. After he transformed into a human he saved Niang Hu from some cave monsters in his new form but Niang didn't recognize him. In later scenes, we are introduced to Sanzi, whom I though was the human version of Khatru Pup, but it turns out they are two different people?! huh?! Also, what role does Rend Razorjaw play in this story exactly? Was he just an accomplice for Sanzi? That part happened so quickly that I didn't get to take in all the dialogue and action. Apart from these bits, I get the rest of the story. Can someone please elaborate these confusing parts for me? A summary of the storyline would be best lol

If I remember right, Rend is Khatru Pup gone bad. And I think Sanzi was Niang Hu's lover.

Desdi - Sanctuary

Sanzi was indeed Niang Hu's lover.
If my memory serves me right, Sanzi saved Niang Hu in that cave or at least that's what Niang Hu thought. I think the human Khatru Pup saved her but she thought it was Sanzi. I might be wrong on this one since it's been months since I did it.

Sanzi, however, turned out that he was simply after Niang Hu's power or something like that. Upon him killing Niang Hu, the Khatru Pup raged and turned into Rend Razorclaw until you challenge him during your first FB and bring his senses back.

Just finished it last weekend. So sad. f:cry

It is basically as stated above. Besides that little twist at the end when you go back to talk to the Elder. I did not see that one coming, though I should have with all the hints the Drunk gave me.

Hi all, need some help for my venomancer toon, it is L100 and 1st RB.

So I believe I'm at "Old Memories IV" purple quest in the quest line as that is in my 'Available Quests' page.

This requires me to find the Quest Dispatcher "Khatru pup in human form" inside the Cave of Vicious FB19. The only thing is, that NPC isn't there.

I've tried being in squad and being alone, I've tried walking around the coordinates which is near the entrace of cave of vicious. I've tried killing the begining 2-3 mobs and leaving them alone. I've tried relogging several times. Nothing works, so I sent a ticket.

Only that customer support says they are letting their QA team work on it. Then they changed the ticket status to "Solved" today, and I asked them did you change it to solved without any write up? Did you put back the NPC or did you give me a nether essence(to complete quest at Venomancer Fei)? And they just told me, here are some links to help, and linked me to the PWI forum and wiki. Seriously, did they think that I was a 7 year old who would accept "Solved" and "Please go to the forum, ty". Nothing was solved at all?

Anyone here can give advice if you faced a missing NPC for the new fox form quest line?

That's probably one of the steps you have to talk to the old swordsman inside the den. If he doesn't have the quest, trash and retake.

Mayfly, the NPC Khatru pup in human form is nowhere to be found inside the Cave of Vicious(FB19 near elf starter town plume city).

I have purple quest "Old Memories IV" in my Available Quests log.

PWI customer support isn't doing much they told me to look at forums bleh.

Mayfly is right, from what I remember, people had trouble with npcs spawning before, trash and re-take the quest. Kathru NPC spawns for a short period after you talk to the old swordsman and the other npcs replay the scenes from the past, then it disappears.

Did you have all of the shards? If so, trash and retake, like Mayfly and Deffy have said.

Not sure if this is helpful, but I've been working on a guide for this. My plan was to put it up on the wiki, but seeing as how that's down for maint, I might as well post it here for now. The part you're at has been highlighted in red, so it'll be easier to find. (Please forgive any formatting/spelling errors. Oh my, that rather sucks. World chat to look for another untamed doing the quest chain, squad them and when npc spawns for them, use it as well.
That's all I can think would work in your particular situation.

did anyone have issues with this quest I have worked on it for 2 days have trashed3 times have tried in squad and out of squad and I can only get 1/30 of the Floating Wisp tell me what to do plz
