Need input on "low" level FC soloing

Hi there.

I got a Sin approaching lvl 90 and I think it would be awesome if I could solo my own FCs on it, alternatively duo with another Sin or BM. I got a lot of experience soloing, but I am unsure of what it would take to be able to do it at that level.
This is how my Sin will look when it hits lvl 90: http://pwcalc.com/8b6fcfaba93e0c69

I think I will have a decent chance solo if fully buffed. Might take some time but hopefully will be able to do it and if I can find someone ells with roughly the same gear to duo with I think it will be a walk in the park (ok, maybe not that easy :x)
Ofcourse I will try for myself as soon as I can, but if there is something that needs to be improved I wanna find out asap (I like to plan ahead xD)
So what do you guys think? Will it be enough or should I just give up and go through the boring and usually fail random FCs to get to lvl 100? xD

Eh, when my sin hit 90 I went and solo'd a few FCCs (even did it at 80...). Takes a long time, especially since the second boss is pretty much undoable without great gear (10k hp+) and a charm or someone glitching. Glitching means bringing a friend in, which adds a couple minutes and more time to the run. The Bishop boss will purge you and then the adds might interupt your attempts to repaint yourself and although he's not really difficult alot of times he'll get lucky and kill you. He'll sleep away your sparks and things like that.

Here's the answer: If you glitch the boss it's totally doable, but it's still not worth it. It will more than likely take you 75-90 minutes, which is 2 or 3 FCCs worth with a squad.

People seem to think a 6 person squad means 1/6th the xp, but it's much better than that. It's something like 45% the xp, much easier, with less costs, and much faster. Cut that down to a 4 person squad. My favorite combo is a Sin (tank), BM (puller), cleric (healer), and veno (amp/debuffs). Then you can cut that down to 3 or 2 when you gear /level gets higher. A 2 person squad gives like 80% the xp of a 1 person squad, but can be more than twice as quick when you consider debuffs and amps.

Well time is ofcourse a big factor, but my main reason for wanting to solo it isn't to lvl faster but to skip all the fail random squads I seem to get into every time I do normal FC. Maybe if I can find someone similarly geared we can duo and even make it worthwhile with the EXP/hour rate too xD Thanks for saying it's doable though, I did not look forward having to spend anything ells on it right now xD

A 2 person squad give 60% the exp iirc. So that is a big difference and when you go 2 persons, you might as well go 6 persons too.

I wouldnt go trough the hastle of soloing pre 100. Its probably gonna be much more fail than a random squad. It takes long enough that you will have to get yourself rebuffed multiple times. And probably you will occasionally die.
If you want to reduce the amount of fail, you need to find yourself just 1 or 2 good friends in the aoe department. Thats enough to make a squad non-fail and you can add random suckers to fill the squad and make things go fast.

Alternatively, buy spots, become level 100, sell spots to make back your money would probably by an effective strategy :)
Everything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.

I'm sorry but I fced my sin to 100 and very rarely ran into these fail squads you talked about, especially if you are tanking the bosses. The problem isn't them, it's the fac you don't keep a list of friends that have toons ur lv to fc with, and you are bad at picking out squad members from WC. Do you do gear checks? Don't be prideful and say skill>gear because at a certain gear mark things are easy, start checking gear.

At OP you have the same base aps as me, and the same hp/defenses that I had/used to farm fc to a) get 100 and b)get geared
You will need someone to glitch second boss and on **** boss I ignore bp and spam crabs... saves time and is easier imo.
Oh and I am Sage so you will have an easier time if you are demon.
+ the dags a lil bit more and you are good to go. b:victory

Edit: didnt see you had demon spark on, so you might have trouble, get an equally geared sin and stealth run go go go go go

Demon gets 25% more dmg (dealt and recieved) unless you over ride your spark, it kinda breaks even actually.

if you are sage and you use windshield, you overwrite your spark with a 15% reduction unless you have a godly 100 dex genie

    1.82-2.5 = 37.4% aps increase, for OP's sin

    2.86-3.33 = 16.4% increase

    3.33-4.00=20.1% increase

    4.00-5.00 = 25.0% increase

Demon spark is definitely not a flat 25% extra dps; it's more like a bell curve

wouldn't windshield>spark keep the spark reduction? haven't checked if WS lasts till the next spark though
    you only purge once #yopo

You'd get spark's reduction but lose around a third or so of the duration windshield lasts to spark's channel/cast time.
